Friends from the area took us to James Street Eatery as it has become one of their favourite places to eat - and it's easy to see why.
The charming atmosphere is supplemented by great service and absolutely delicious food.
We ordered a few different things - some to share and some for ourselves - and everything was excellent - fresh and flavorful!

James Street has the best food — best burgers, best apps, best entrees, best desserts — in Wallaceburg (and probably all of SW Ontario). The atmosphere is great and service is wonderful. I can't think of another restaurant — definitely not nearby — that combines elevated pub food with such a non-stuffy, welcoming atmosphere. I feel like it would be impossible not to have a great time here. Everything I've eaten at James Street has been cooked perfectly, with noticeable care put into the elements of every dish. And while all the seafood is wonderful, my favourite remains the braised lamb shank — consistently perfect with layers and layers of flavour in the puttanesca.

This Eatery is amazing, after having a horrible experience at the brewery down the street. We came to James Street Eatery and the owners and staff are AMAZING. The food is top notch, this is Wallaceburgs hidden gem. Recommended to anyone looking for a delicious meal like momma use to make with a twist.

We had the prime rib Saturday and it was amazing. If you're interested you need to call ahead and let them know you want it. There's a limited amount.

This place is an "Oh my God" Food, service and menu absolutely the best. I met up with a friend today and we decided to meet halfway between our homes. We love good food so looked at the reviews for a great place and this place came up and all I can say is wow. Can't wait to come back. Everything was so delicious
