What an experience for me and my 3 friends here at the Stubby goat. Overall, dining here was a delight and a pleasure from start to finish. Food was delicious and reasonable priced, service was warm and friendly from start to finish, and charming ambiance made for a memorable experience. This place was making beef brisket sandwiches on special. My first time visiting and I tell you I will be back. Best sandwich I have had in a very long time.

Stopped in late October on my bike ride from Buffalo to Kalamazoo for dinner - and was I hungry after 60 miles in the saddle! I started with the butternut squash soup; this was delightful and had a very unusual taste. The chef popped his head out and told me he'd added allspice; so I'm going to steal that for my butternut squash soup! I actually picked the Stubby Goat b/c the online menu photo here had French Onion soup; it was unavailable when I was there, but the Butternut was outstanding! I then had the poutine; this had plenty of gravy and curds and was hot and tasty. Dinner was the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, perfect spice, juicy, and large. Highly recommend and will stop again on my next bike ride! No photos as I was so hungry I tucked in immediately ... :) P.S Staff was terrific as well!

My kids drove out from Windsor to celebrate my 73rd birthday with me but I was very disappointed when we arrived about 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 18 to find your facility closed. I had recommended your place based on the reviews and was looking forward to experiencing your great staff and food. I am sorry to say I am very disappointed.
Nice little place. The staff is super friendly. I ordered the chicken Parmesan pasta, I didn’t even realize I was so hungry until I had the soup. The food was great. Should definitely visit.

We had had a great lunch in downtown Wallaceburg, Ontario on 153 Nelson Street. They have a pretty good limited menu with many of the choices, as you read them, you could almost taste them. The waitress was a very friendly lady who told us about a lunch special of the day which was a bowl of homemade soup with a six inch sub for $15.00 each. We both chose the special and did not regret it. Both items were simple and delicious. Service was quick and as I said earlier, very friendly. This was our first visit, but will be returning in the future.
The Caprese sandwich is amazing. Perfect combination of flavors. Pesto was the best I've ever tasted.

Happened upon the restaurant on a Sunday when they were supposed to be closed. So glad they weren’t. Food was excellent and our server was awesome (sorry we didn’t get your name). I do wish more restaurants were open Sunday. It’s slim pickings out there.
