Well i will say that it is in a great area the man that was running it until he passed away now my mom runs it and I know sometimes we go through hard times but and may not always want to eat but I do encourage u all to go try the food if u have not been there

Lovely place with excellent service. Butter tarts are off the charts, egg sandwiches are delicious, and local crafts are available for purchase. Prices are very reasonable, will definitely return, and the proprietor was really lovely.

Today for mother's day my family took me out for breakfast. It was busy and full of reservations, this wonderful friendly woman says no problem we will make you a table in front !!! We had amazing service food was fantastic and the employees were phenomenal!!! we will be back 😀

My daughter had to use bathroom very badly and was snidely refused and my wife offered to purchase $12 on coffee and some candy bars. Even after doing so staff was rude. The coffee was horrible I dumped it was old and gross.

It was an unexpected stop here! After gassing up our bikes in Thamesville, I mentioned to my partner to keep an eye open for a “small town cafe.” He abruptly pulled over when he saw Dave’s Cafe. What a delight. We love supporting local businesses. Our meals were delicious and the hospitality so friendly and down home like. Thank you very much. We will definitely make it our “must stop here” when we pass through again. Be well and stay safe. ❤️????✌️????

Very quaint. Lots of memorabilia to look at while you are waiting for your homecooked meal. Decent serving sizes. Owner is waitress. Waitress is cook. Cook is dishwasher. Dishwasher is owner.
