A group of 9 decided to venture into Warkworth today and Jeannine’s backtalk cafe was recommended…we walked in and right in the middle of the room was a large table! Sat down placed our orders and had some time to chat. Well it wasn’t long before every table was taken and our hostess was running around getting everyone’s order. Nicole was very attentive refilling the coffee, and delivering everyone’s meal. A room of 26 customers who she personally served by herself! When it was time to leave we had to pay cash at the cash register… I approached Nicole and told her job well done!!! She reached out and gave me a huge hug! I am thinking we will be back! Thanks Nicole and the kitchen staff, we were truly BLESSED today!

Not sure how this was classified as a wannabe hipster place when the owner is in her senior years.Amazing home cooked breakfast that makes you feel like your Nan or mom is cooking.Old school country atmosphere and smiles on everyone's facesBring cash as they don't do Interact (again hipster mentality??)We will be back.

We visited during a really busy time, but their best to make sure everyone was seated and taken care of in the most efficient manner with a smile and lots of coffee.? Prices were reasonable and food was good. If we find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will definitely return.
Lovely family run spot for all day breakfast and absolutely delicious home made burgers and battered fish and chips. Soup also excellent. Great prices.
