You know a place is going to be good when you arrive around 1pm on a rainy Wednesday afternoon in November, the place is busy and the owners and customers call each other by name. Definitely a local gem. Glad I stopped on route to Ottawa.
I have loved K Okay Cafe for years and visit anytime I am in Warkworth! Today, however, was extra special! I was in town for an elementary girls soccer tournament with my daughter, during a break a friend and I took a stroll to the cafe as we were dying for a K Okay London Fog! We didn’t even think, it’s Monday, and Warkworth basically shuts down on Mondays! We stood in front of the closed sign, so disappointed…we must have looked pretty sad because Jimmy opened the...
Our friends from Cobourg brought us here for a real treat. The coffee is amazing as a matter of fact I bought a bag of the Kicking horse and today I'm having it again at home. Just an amazing coffee. Smooth and tasteful, I will definitely be buying this again. The biscotti that we had with our coffee there was amazing also. I'd would have loved to try everything they had cause it all looked awesome.
