We have a gift certificate. Can't wait to eat here and experience the ambience.
First time visiting Catch 22 in 3 years, and it couldn’t have been better! The food was top-notch, the ambience was amazing, and Bob went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Thank you , I’ll definitely be coming back regularly!

For Wasaga it is pretty good. But if I am paying $50 for a paella I would hope that no broken mussell shells are in it. In general, the food is good, but not worth the price they sell it at 🤷♀️

Welcome to my review of Catch 22 in Wasaga Beach. A little jem of a restaurant that is bursting with culinary delights fine wines and elegant decor. We ordered an appetizer two mains and a bottle of Shiraz. Total damage $206. Well priced for the great quality of food served. Staff was very attentive with owner pitching in to make the flow effortless. Highly recommend you make a reservation as seating is limited. That be said you’d be sadly disappointed if you didn’t. All I can say is WOW! This was some of the best food I’ve ever had in a long time
Dined here with some friends, and it was totally worth the hype.
To start we ordered the muscles crabcakes wedge salad. They also bring a really nice warm pieces of bread with some red pepper butter that was to die for!
Our entrées consisted of the 14 oz New York strip the 8 oz filet mignon, truffle ricotta sacchetti. The steak was cooked to perfection at a medium rare. The pasta was light as a cloud and super flavourable. Another friend also ordered the French onion soup.
This place can battle some Toronto restaurants. You 100% need to come try this place!
I will be back 10/10.
Such an awesome place! Food and staff are amazing! Well worth the price!

Last night my wife and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary with our three daughters at Catch 22. We arrived early for our 7:15pm reservation and were greeted at the door promptly. As they walked us to our table I requested a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate. Our server came by to confirm the bottle order and take our daughters' drink request. When our server came with the drinks the unfortunate happened: the tray tipped and the beverages fell resulting in shattered glass, wet clothes, a small cut on my finger and lemon in my eye. The server was mortified and we felt terrible for him. I went to clean myself up while the server and a colleague cleared everything away. 15 minutes later - at 7:50pm - our bottle arrived along with the drinks. The rest of the night went off without a hitch and the food delivered.
The reason for my poor review is this: at 9:05pm we got the bill which included that bottle of prosecco, a bottle of red, multiple starters, multiple steaks with paid-premium sides. Not an inexpensive meal at all. We still had full glasses of wine to enjoy so I didn't open the bill. One minute later the owner of the establishment came over to give us a nudge to pay. I understand that you close at 9pm on Thursdays but considering the delay was in no way our fault I hardly understand the move. Furthermore, at no point during the ordeal did management/ownership come by to check on us and see if we were alright. Finally, no items were comped on the bill - not even an iced tea. I paid the bill (with 15% gratuity), chugged my wine and left without so much as a goodbye, thank you or apology.
It's too bad that a restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good food within walking distance from me is never to be enjoyed by us again but this is the service industry and that starts with management/ownership.
Follow up:
Today I had the pleasure of having a conversation with Bob and Debbie - the owners of this restaurant- and after discussing their experience on July 10th I had to write a follow up review because we never know the circumstances leading up to certain events. After giving me a play-by-play of their day I have to say that I’m blown away by how they were even able to open for service on that night! Not only did they open but their food and service were exceptional. Colour me embarrassed! I definitely learned a life lesson here: listen to all sides of the story before rushing to conclusions. Thank you for sharing your story. Yours is definitely an establishment that my wife and daughters will enjoy for years to come!
