The ice cream comes from buckets, however, same as any other ice cream parlor. The other ice cream place just a few seconds down the road, however, has a machine which literally mixes the ice cream and its ingredients when you order. For this reason, the other place will remain our go-to for cold treats.

I'm so lucky to have stumbled upon Grandma's Beach Treats at the Butter Tarts Festival at the Old Mill today. I bought the 6-pack sampler ($18) and devoured the Maple Bacon and Raisin at home. WOW in one word. This is the OG. The real deal. Absolutely phenomenal, buttery crust and the gooey filling is delicious as heck.
