Always Love eating here, just had my Birthday meal here on the 9th. The buffet is always fresh every time I come sit down everything's being made on the spot I love it. Delicious and the price is unbeatable

Went to the hot wok Chinese food in wasaga beach on october 29 2025 had combo number one and combo number7 the rice was full. Of starch and to much salt I am nor to have to much salt and starch you could tast the salt in the rice and the rice stuck to gather I would not recommend this resturant if you can't have to much salt and starch this isn't the place to eat out first time I had rice with to much salt will not be returning to the Hot wok I am a diabetic Harry

I really don't like leaving bad reviews but if you're anything like me and are sensitive to weird chicken then beware. I have had good Chinese food that uses mostly white meat and this is not it. I am picky about chicken. I like general tao or sesame. This place seems to use literally every piece of chicken, lots of fat, gristle and I even crunched into a piece of cartilage. One piece I swear was all scraps and not even a piece of true meat inside. It is like they literally use every piece of scrap off the chicken. Turns me off of the whole meal. Shanghai noodles were meh. Not bad but still kinda had that old oil taste. Cashier was however very cheerful, polite and friendly! Also, I went to the washroom and it looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Seat was covered in dry pee drops. Makes you wonder of the cleanliness of everything else. Will not be going again.

The buffet is legit a joke. There was no options and the food was extremely cold. Me and my girlfriend had 1 plate and said screw it. Went up to just pay and leave but the lady working there was so nice and just charged us for 2 egg rolls. The service was great but buffet was brutal. Maybe if u just order from the menu , it will be better.

I asked for no peanuts and 2 times and made it very clear. Still got peanuts in my order. If I had happened to be allergic that would have created a very big problem. They clearly dont listen to their customers

Wow! I have never been riped off like this in my life. I was referred by a family friend who usually orders takeout. We went there and decided to dine in. The waitress suggested we dine in and try the buffet. DONT FALL FOR IT! Such a scam. She said the food in the buffet area is constantly re stocked fresh. Didn't happen the food was rationed so badly that the trays contained a tiny bit of food and it was drab looking and old. They left food out without proper heat lamps and it was getting dry and stale. Nothing was fresh I paid the bill , hardly ate anything and did not want to cause a scene but I feel obligated to warn others. Stay clear of the makeshift buffet. It's a ripoff and a receipe for food poisoning.
Horrible buffet. Food was stale and they promise to replenish and they don't. People walked out because the food was old, cold , and your sure to get sick off the food being out there so long. Huge ripoff and fraudulent.
