I had the oxtail - it was fantastic. Lots of meat, lots of gravy and rice. Pepper was at a good level. This is good, authentic Jamaican food. Price was perfect.

This place has the best food ! Oxtail is 10/10 . If you’ve ever drove to the pioneer parking lot you’ve smelled the amazing food next door at jerk it up !!! The smell is not the only good thing the taste is amazing ! His patties are also great as well as the curry and jerk chicken ! I’m sure everything is grata but that’s all I’ve tried :) Come see jerk it up if you’re looking for good authentic food. I don’t like to give bad reviews on local places that were very polite so I didn’t give a bad review of the wasaga patty place but I have tried their curry chicken and pattys and they’re just not it ….. jerk it up is 100% the place to go to get good authentic food in wasaga .

Just moved here to wasaga this year and discovered this little hole in the wall ! It's super tasty! So far I've tried the oxtail and curry goat 🥰 I will update to 5 stars once I've tried everything hahaha The guy at the front is super friendly and polite too! Though I must say both times that ive been here there's no fried plantain 😭 one of my favorites. Lol but maybe that's cause I've been here after 6pm 🤷♀️ the gentleman did however give me an extra piece of cornbread to make up for the no plantain, which was amazing. I definitely recommend this place
