Dined in for lunch with my sisters. We were looking for a place that serves good poutine and comfortable seating (not hard chairs). We sat in a booth, seats were comfortable. Foam covered vinyl, not ripped. Old style pub feeling. There was a chill in the air because they just opened.Poutine: while they don’t use curds the cheese was moderate, the gravy rich and beefy, fresh cut fries - it was really good! We were halfway through our poutine and our gravy was running low and our server offered to bring us more gravy. What!!!! Yes please! This is unheard of. Service fast, hot and friendly. The price was affordable. We had the place to ourselves, which was a surprise but it was a Monday. Last week I drove by and the parking lot was full. So it’s no secret and the reviews reflect a good choice. Glad I finally experienced the Iron Skillet. C’est bon. I definitely recommend and will be going there again.March 1, 2024 updated update review.Dined in for lunch with my sisters again. Birthday celebration for eldest. Unfortunately the experience was not as great this time.Food and Service: Fries and salad. The fries were very overcooked, the salad still had a sticker on the lettuce. Albeit the salad was very fresh. A lack of attention to detail this visit. While we could have returned our food we chose not to so that our sister's bday was enjoyable for her. without upset.Birthday Dessert: I was reminded of the services offer of a birthday dessert and interest in birthday plans which was a nice touch.I will try this place again as it was so good the first visit.What I appreciate as a customer is accountability and excellent food and service which I'm confident will be received next visit.

I wanted to order take it from the Wasaga Beach location, but the menu on the website was not complete. I called the restaurant, and one of the servers took photos of the entire menu and texted them to me. Ordered for a later time, picked up and it was ready at exactly the right time, and ate a DELICIOUS meal (even with some adjustments I had asked for and they had accommodated)!

best place in wasaga to eat out at the owners are absolutely wonderful people to be around & the food quality is unbeatable, I’ve ate the skillet burger maybe a thousand times, the kitchen staff do an exceptionally well Job & everything is up to Par, I often enjoy coming here with friends and family and always recommend it.

Omg!! First time here and Pam was great! We were there for schnitzel night and loved it ! Humungous portions and oh so tasty! Can't wait to go
We wanted to like this place because it was local but was deeply disappointed. We should of known something was up when this was the only place with available seating when we went out. (Only about 1/3 - 1/2 the place was full on Saturday). To start with the positive, the drinks were good, and the waitress was nice enough when she was around. The décor was dated but seemed well maintained so we enjoyed it as more of a nostalgic dinner experience. the food itself was the big disappointment. The garlic bread was soggy and tasted like a bread recipe a tried at home for the first time this year that didn't turn out as well as I wanted it to. My husband and I order our own meals but shared them, he ordered a steak that came on the rarer side, which we didn't mind because we do prefer it rarer anyways but it also tasted unseasoned. I'm thinking they prefer to cater the an older demographic with the way everything "tasted", even the gravy was bland. The chicken in my Chicken Parm that I ordered was undercooked, My husband had tasted a piece before myself and mentioned it tasted funny so we took a look at the meat and found pink meat, we ended up pointing this out to the server and the chef basically said we were wrong and that we saw dark meat, as if we didn't know the difference. I'm thankful my husband order the larger steak at least or else I would of left starving. we picked at most of the food we did get and didn't bother with desert and went home instead and snacked instead.
I'd do Wasaga Pizza.... and I don't really like pizza.No need to say anymore.
