I like the Sandbar it's a great place to go in the evening for drinks and dancing.

Nice spot to sit upstairs and enjoy a cold beer. Staff are great: attentive, polite and courteous. My two pet peeves: no draught beer & very limited menu. They do have some interesting cocktails that seem quite popular however. So bottom line: if you’re ok with having a cold beer and enjoying a simple bite; I’d highly recommend this place.

We went on the long weekend. It was near empty. Five staffers chit chatted behind the bar until all the customers left because they never got served. So did we. We were there for 30 minutes. Nobody came to the table. I had to go to the bar to get a drink. The rest of my group simply left without ordering anything. All taps were dry. Last time I went, they said they were waiting for kegs. Sounds to me like they never order kegs.

Sever was great. Place was a dump and the menu was wraps and potato chips.Great location but they need to put some money in and fix up the patio.

On the positive side: the servers are prompt, polite and efficient, the beer is cold and the view is great. It's Wasaga Beach and people do not come here for the cuisine. However, it is expected to at least serve reasonable tasting food and this food was almost unpalatable. The reasonable MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN WRAP ($15) was filled with canned cold cubed chicken certainly not grilled on site. The tomatoes and lettuce were the standouts as "fresh" and the "special Mediterranean dressing" was just bottled Ranch. The SANDBAR B.L.T. ($10) was absolutely disgusting!!!! The highly questionable "fresh" bread (isn't it fresh coming out of a loaf???) was soggy and nowhere near "toasted" although it had a grill mark on one side which looked like it had been done with an iron. The "crisp" bacon strips were COLD pre-cooked things right out of the package. The highlight of this "meal" was the fresh tomato, lettuce and the handful of potato chips out of a bag. Again....this is Wasaga Beach so you can't expect a lot but it SHOULD BE better than this !!!!

Very pleased with my dinner here. I think it was some of the best sea food I have EVER tried I ordered the the lobster combo it was out of this world bomb. I have eaten a lotnof sea food in my life so believe me. Would highly recommend the mixed drinks were awesome. 10/10 delicious. The service was above and beyond. Had many servers come and check upon me frequently. I wish I lived closer because I would be a regular here. Keep up the good work.
