I was very disheartened tonight. I have eaten Ming’s many times over the years being a born and raised “local”
In the Summer I ordered and it was great!
Tonight the single meals were very disappointing and extremely small portioned.
We wanted to support the “little guy” and share the nostalgia.
The chicken friend rice was rice, oil and soya sauce. (Where’s the chicken? Egg? Vegetables?) It tasted reheated and burned.
The chicken balls extremely small and hard.
The chow mein tasted burnt as well.
My partner got 3 small thin slimy pieces of beef in his beef and mixed vegetables which also tasted old and reheated to him.
The egg rolls were good though!
I feel so bad because this once a treasure is sure to be going out of business soon at this rate!

Got take out tonight. Lo mein, fried rice, chicken balls and general tao chicken. Everything was delicious. The chicken fried rice is more "plain" than other places but has WAY more good flavours cooked in. Lo Mein was cooked perfectly and the veggies in it was great. Chicken balls have good sized chicken chunks and nice balance of crispy and soft batter. General Tao chicken was some of the best we've had. First time trying Uncle Mings and will return! Waited about 15 minutes for our order and the gentlemen who took our order inside, brought it right out to our vehicle when it was ready! Great service, good sized portions and delicious dinner. Yes the building looks run down buts it's just older. Everything I seen looks clean and the food is great.
Great dinner, and looking forward to leftovers tomorrow as well!

Decided to try Uncle Ming's tonight for dinner and ordered 2 dinner for one's. I have to say this was the worst plated chinese food ever. When I picked up the food it was extremely light and thought to my self why so light? Is this my order? I decided to just drive home and see when I get there. When we opened our dinner for one, they looked like snack boxes. The beef order had 2 small pieces of beef that were somewhat slimy. The chicken balls had a hard over crispy batter with air holes and very oily with a tiny piece of chicken meat. The egg rolls same batter and oily. The rice was barely tasty and also oily. Needless to say, uncle Ming's will not see us again. We were very disappointed at the least.

Delicious! Ordered the meal for 4, sweet and sour ribs and general Tao chicken. All delicious and more than enough food for another day. Would recommend!

Dinner combo 2, Fried Rice with Chicken Balls and Chow Mein. The food ended up being good and fresh, thankfully, as the reviews made me 100% skeptical. My issue is there was probably 5 spoons of rice and it felt like I paid almost $12 for a lunch size bc of that. I really like fried rice so that was disappointing. Usually rice is the one thing Chinese restaurants dish out heavily. Not sure if I will go back based on value but I am happy everything was tasty.

I have been going here since I was a child the place itself may seem run down, but the food is amazing! I’d recommend the chicken ball with homemade “red sauce” chicken fried rice and the Singapore noodle. The owners are lovely hard working people that have put all there hard work into there delicious food!
