went for the first time for lunch today. we got the veal and chicken sandwiches. I cannot describe how good they were! the roasted peppers and onions, the sauce, the meat was breaded and perfectly tender. seriously, go to Garcia's!!! best lunch I've had in a long while.

Garcia's Sandwich Shop in Waterdown is a hidden gem! Their Meatball sandwich is my absolute favourite, loaded with an assortment of fresh, mouth-watering toppings and cheese made to order. The Kaiser buns, sourced from a local bakery and delivered fresh every morning, are incredibly soft and add the perfect touch. The owners are amazing—always friendly and welcoming! Watched a movie on Netflix where they were serving Cubano sandwiches - looked to see if anywhere local made these and discovered Garcia's Sandwich Shop. Did not disappoint - fabulous, tasty and plentiful (we shared a sandwich with the spicy olives - also amazing). Definitely recommend and we will be going back to try other menu items.

Very sweet and friendly Portuguese owners of this quaint and classic feeling Italian sandwich shop in a plaza in waterdown. Inspired by California sandwiches but a different style with a less breaded cutlet and a more homemade feel to the ingredients. Very solid marinara sauce and a very tasty and fresh Kaiser bun. Delicious, filling and tasty as can be. Will definitely be back!

The place is small but the service is fantastic. We had coffee and pastries. Iced coffee with a scoop of ice cream!! Pastries were made at a local bakery. Chantelle let us know they make all sandwiches and pasta dishes fresh to order (but call ahead for pasta). Uber orders were flying out the door!!
