Trying this place for the first time and honestly blown away! Super fresh and was delicious!
Definitely be eating here again!
Love this spot in Waterdown. So lucky to have this quality sushi spot in town! Owners are great. They always remember my name and order and the portions and quality are top notch. We used to drive out to Burlington to find decent Sushi but have been going here now for many years and it has never disappointed. If you live in Waterdown/Flamborough and like Sushi give Sushi Ya a shot.

The best sushi in Waterdown, and all of Hamilton. So fresh and very reasonable prices for the quality and amount of fish.
Best sushi in the area. You can tell it’s of the Highest quality in the flavours. Fish is always 10/10.

Ordered the Dynamite and California roll as take out. My order was freshly made and ready in less than 20minutes. Enjoyed every bit of it, I would definitely visit again.

Quality of sushi keeps going down. Tuna & salmon sushi shouldn’t be chewy bits with sinew. Being part of a chain maybe their parent company has cheapened the quality. We used to enjoy this place.

We just moved to Waterdown so it was our first experience ordering from this masterful, authentic restaurant. I have an allergy to raw onions so need to be careful how I order and the owner was so very thoughtful and respectful to my needs. The food was amazing and fresh, it’s the best Japanese food we have ever tasted. We would highly recommend this beautiful little gem as the perfect place for Japanese cuisine.
Dietary restrictions: They were so careful and respectful to my allergies to onions.

First time dine in the restaurant. Small sitting area but cozy. Food were tasty. We had a salmon sushi pizza, California roll and house special of bulgoki and tempura. Will visit again for lunch. They have a sign at the door they only open for dine in up to 4 pm.

We have been ordering from sushi ya for many years and we are always happy. Very fresh, excellent fish to rice ratio. Nice thick cut of sashimi. Tempura is also tasty.
I have eaten a LOT of sushi in a lot of different places (including Japan) and I feel lucky to have this quality nearby.
