I got a birthday cake from here, it had an extremely thick chocolate layer on top. It was hard to cut infact had to literally smash the cake. The icing was very grainy and also very thick. Did not really enjoy much as had to pick the chocolate then ton of icing away before even taking a bite.

Donuts are never ready when they’re open at 8 AM. I like to go in the morning when they open and get some fresh donuts to bring to people and I always have to come back after nine just unfortunate. They’re not ready when they open.

Updating my review. Not sure there was a change in management, but noticing prices have gone up quite dramatically and food quantity and quality have gone down. The breads aren't as fresh as they once were. We use to love their sandwiches, price has almost doubled and meat, cheese and fillings are not what they were. Still a good place to visit if you aren't price sensitive, just not as good as it was.

Does this business not want to hire workers? Waited 15 mins for donuts, only reason was due to a customer who was behind me in the donut line who was sick of waiting for service, headed over to the cashier and was being kind and sending cashier back to serve people waiting at the donut counter. Only 3 workers for all areas of the business is pathetic. Where is the owner when business is short handed? Many angry people in line and many people just walking out. First time and last time I will come here!

I wanted to get people’s take on this . I’ve had this card tucked in my wallet for awhile, I was at Sweet Paradise in Waterdown picking a few things up and decided to use it and I ordered a turkey sub.
I checked for an expiration date and as you can see there isn’t one. When it came time to pay I handed the card to the cashier, then I was told they wouldn’t accept it as it had to be hole punched, and that there was someone who got a free sub by using a loyalty card that was not hole punched.
The sub value was14.99$.
I did question this and asked to speak to a manager, there was not one available so the staff called the owner . At the end of it all I was told the card was invalid as it was not hole punched and that the initial’s written for the purchase was not acceptable, I have no control as to how they mark the proof of purchase. As well as the cashier saying no one works here with those initials, which I replied stands for Sweet Paradise.
Feeling like I was being told that I was presenting a fraudulent loyalty card, and that I had somehow been trying to scam them for a sub, I left without my other purchases which would have been around 30$, as well as leaving the sub behind.
Not sure why Sweet Paradise’s owners would make a call like this , it’s very offensive to be treated like this, a scammer, I don’t think I will be shopping there again and it pains me because I would rather support local businesses. But after this I feel very disappointed and offended to be cast in this light . I feel that my integrity was being questioned over a 14.99$ sub sandwich is not worth the trouble to shop Sweet Paradise.

An amazing bakery and deli. Cheese buns and Fritters are awesome. They make beautiful desserts. Subs for lunch. The deli and pasta are incredible. Try the lasagna.

A sandwich made on a freshly baked panini bun is hard to say no to. They're even harder to put down, and a hard to beat alternative to the other sandwich shops in town, especially when you look around at all the desert options! Find value at Sweet Paradise. We enjoyed the neighborhood and ate in their outdoor seating area.

So tired of companies trying to dig as deep as possible into your pockets.
Spent $35 on two sandwiches and a cookie. On top of that they wanted to charge $2 per sandwich for toppings (mushroom and onions) that used to be included.

Won’t be back.
