Probably the best fish and chips I had, the English Sheperd pies were also amazing, the drinks could have been a little colder and the inside were kinda hot too...

Just had lunch here. Recommend highly. I had the chicken curry pie with slaw side. Sooo Delicious. Others had fish & chips, shepards pie, & caesar salad with chicken, again all loved their choices.
Lovely lunch with cousins 💕
Friendly service, great food.
The atmosphere is quite loud in the full tables section. We had the fish & chips & we found it VERY VERY GREASY - so much so when lifted off the plate the grease ran down my fingers & on the plate. The fish was tasteless, little fish piece in the crispy greasy batter was mushy. The fries were all TOO well done & the coleslaw had way too much dressing, as the cabbage & carrot was swimming in the sauce. This is the third time to the Gibbled Goose, twice for fish & chips, once of fish taco. Tacos were ok but the fish was not good each time !! The watered down Diet Coke was a disappointment. Too bad as Waterford needs a good restaurant !
Food was great service was excellent

Stopped in on wkd. Cute little place, always passed, never stopped in until Sunday. It's perfect for quiet dinner or gor larger groups, also the bonus is they have take out. Anyways ordered broccoli and cheese soup, came with garlic bread. It was very delicious. Also ordered cheese burger and fries. Burger was great fries were terrific. Prices are absolutely affordable. Waitress was friendly, attentive and quick. So if out and about would recommend stopping in. They are known for their fish and chips, that we did not order. But they are on menu. Lol
Parking: They have outside dining, in summer obviously. But it's there
Wheelchair accessibility: Tons of room for wheel chairs

Cold salmon dish that sat under a heat lamp. They served it anyway. When I said it wasn’t good- they brought me some cold butter to … ??? I have no idea what I was supposed to do. It was cold and dried out. Very very strange. They asked if they could get me another dish, but I’d entirely lost my appetite

Great place, friendly and attentive service. Nice pub atmosphere. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, the chicken curry pie was super delicious. The Rum Goose went down easy, a really nice cocktail. We can't wait to come back and try more menu items. Cheers.
