“Great little spot to stop either before or after the Superior Provincial Park drive. Halfway between Terrace Bay and Sault Sainte Marie, it's placed perfectly for a break. Good food, good service, decent price, and fairly fast for a sit down spot.

Not much in the way of vegetarian options, but they happily make their westerns/Denvers/omelettes without the meats included.

If you prefer eating at a diner over your typical fast food joints, make this a pit stop on your next trip through these parts.”

“We have stayed here before in the hotel. This time we decided to stay in a cabin. Cabin 222. It smelled like stale smoke, and we reported it to the staff for which they told us that a company had stayed there for a year. Doing work in the area and we're smokers. We would not stay in that cabin ever again.”

“I had the chilli cheese burger. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The food came in a timely manner. Definitely not fast food but 1000% worth the wait. The fry’s were cooked to perfection with what I can only describe and the best seasoning I have ever had on fry’s before. Don’t ruin them with ketchup. Over all I would say 10/10 will be back for sure”

Could have been a 5 star review but I had some issue with my online order lately as it got cancelled for no reason even though it was ordered withing the working hours and had plenty of time to prepare the order. “This was a great find for us! Traveling north, stopped near Wawa for the night, needed a good meal for 7 hungry travelers, really glad we chose Lai's for takeout! All the dishes were tasty, portions were generous, and the veggie dishes had a good variety of different vegetables, not just broccoli or celery like some places give you. We've added this restaurant to our list of favourite places in northern Ontario.”

“The place is amazing with all kinds of decorations that fits the northern town theme. The food is amazing with their pizza being cooked like artisan style and the burgers are also very good with them not cheaping out on any ingredients. The staff are very kind but are super busy.”
