“I have mixed feelings about subways. They can be so inconsistent! I had a great experience here. Friendly staff, the food was solid (what I’d expect of a Subway). It was clean and they have WiFi so I was able to get some work done too.

“Right in the heart of Wawa, beautiful chalets - parking is easy even with a boat. Staff is friendly and everything is clean and working. I'd definitely stay here again. If you are swinging through this is a great place to stay.”

“This was a great find for us! Traveling north, stopped near Wawa for the night, needed a good meal for 7 hungry travelers, really glad we chose Lai's for takeout! All the dishes were tasty, portions were generous, and the veggie dishes had a good variety of different vegetables, not just broccoli or celery like some places give you. We've added this restaurant to our list of favourite places in northern Ontario.”

“Stopped in for dinner a little later this last Friday night and this place was good! Our waiter was friendly, food was good and the beer was cold. My mixed drink was a little weirdly concocted but I drank it. 😂
10/10 would recommend the Pickerel and Rueben dinners. The coleslaw was YUMMMM and so was the gravy.
This was better food than the fine dining up the street.”
