We stayed in early October 2024. After driving all day. We got a 2 room cabin. When walking in, you can see it's a little outdated and needs some repairs. But once you look around, you will notice how disgusting the kitchen area is. The dishes were old and nasty. The sponge in the kitchen ( the only one) was so nasty and old. There was a bad smell when you opened the cabinet doors. The couch needs a good cleaning. The bathroom looked as if they had remodeled it but still need some work. The door handle to the bathroom was on the wrong way.🤣 the beds were hard and uncomfortable. The sheets, pillowcases, and pillows were nasty, with bad stains on them. My husband is an electrician, and the electrical wires were just hanging on the outside and could cause a fire. He saw a few things he didn't like. But it was dark and late when we checked in. It was the next morning that he noticed it. I would definitely not stay there aging unless it was cleaned up. It could be a great place if someone took time to care for it. The outside needs to be cleaned up boards with nails and people left cups at the fire pit by our cabin.

Horrific experience !!!! Bathroom is so tiny, and too close to the main door. Window looking in at Bathroom sink area.....no water pressure. Shower was terrible. Bugs were in room.
Rooms: Although main room was spacious, very poor layout of bathroom as is very very tiny.

Our accommodations were super cute and clean. Some fixings were a little dated but I don't really see why that matters! We placed an order at the restaurant right before it closed (didn't realize the time) and they super kindly delivered our food right to our door!
We enjoyed our night here on our road trip home from Thunder Bay. Thank you !
The food was so good, I can't wait to go back 🤤
The two evenings we ate here the food and service were excellent. We can recommend the bruschetta and the Chilli Chicken.
Clean. Great shower. Very friendly, Economical.
Loved this motel.

So dirty and rooms had bugs and spider, tried changing the room but all were the same, wanted to cancel but they didn't accept. They told me since we are in middle of woods bugs and spiders inside room is normal and expected. Lost my money and had to go and find another motel, the pictures and rooms were so different. The staff were not professional at all.

Very hard to find, has lots of bugs inside and outside the rooms, very poor people skills and customer service is 0. ended up paying double since they have a strict cancelation policy if you don't like the room and have reserved not knowing what you're walking into.
awful experience, haven't had so much disrespect from someone !
I don't recommend it to anyone, since I had to pay another motel for a better experience and a better quality for the same price.
Rooms: seems clean at first sight, but there are spiders lurking around, and we all know spider bites can take weeks to heal, so be prepared if you're staying!

Rooms: Rooms were clean and tidy.
Food and drinks: There's a restaurant at the motel that serves good authentic Indian cuisine.

Definitely dated rooms. This motel is on the highway and definitely convenient. As well, they are dog friendly. And I appreciate this and understand motels can have some flaws. However, this one might need some extra TLC.
The boyfriend checked us in, and we asked about ice. They said the ice machine had been down. There is also a restaurant. They didn't specify, but how it was mentioned, it's been down for quite some time.
We stayed in room 8 and was told room '7'. Got it corrected and the buttons to open the door, the #2 was pushed in. We didn't need it, but just noting it.
There is no AC, there is a fan you can take down off the ledge to plug in.
The bathroom needs some fixing. The hairdryer was laying unplugged on the counter. I went to attach it and it was broken. After a shower, I plugged it in and it was not working at all. The shower drain is not attached (which means water is leaking not only into the pipe) and the switch to make water go from the faucet to the headset was not sealed. And when I was hanging my towel, I almost pulled the rack off with the weight from the towel and the roll of TP almost lost it's life in the toilet if it wasn't for my cat like reflects. TLC and then this place can have more potential. Sorry.

We stopped in at the Best Northern restaurant during a camping trip after a long day of hiking and had a fantastic meal and very friendly service! We were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids who were rudely turned away by Kinniwabi Pines Restaurant next door, so we walked down the road to this lovely restaurant. The menu is a nice blend of Indian dishes and classic restaurant staples. We sampled delicious caesar salad, wings, and spring rolls along with vindaloo chicken, biryani, and chicken tikka masala. The menu was great for kids because you can order smaller dishes to share. The kids also loved their mango lassi drinks, and ice cream desserts. Highly recommend when you are in the area and looking for a family friendly restaurant with lovely staff and great food!

The room is great. Everything you need. No air but the fan on low with the fresh northern air was far better than a loud air conditioner. Parking was good. Staff was very friendly even know I woke them up because I was late do to the fog

We are camping in Lake Superior Provincial Park and came to the restaurant for supper! The restaurant serves delicious authentic Indian cuisine. We ordered veggie samosas, chicken byriani, chicken tikka, butter chicken and the gulab jamun for dessert. Everything was delicious and fresh. Service was friendly and efficient. If you are in the region, I would highly recommend you stop here to give it a try. We will be back for sure!
