The food is great except the General Tao is not even close to general Tao. Ordered twice and thought first time was mistake second time got the same lemon pepper chicken instead of my favorite general Tao. Kimonos please read this and fix it.

Always hot & fresh. The dinner specials include won ton soup.!! Best value as the portions are generous. Plenty of leftovers. I miss the dining room, but continue to support this lovely family business.

I can't really rate the atmosphere since it's only take out now. I wish they went back to being an actual buffet. ?The chicken rice soup is actually so good. It has peas, green beans and carrots in it. Won ton soup is amazing as well. They are so sweet when I go in with my kid to pick up, and almost always offer her some kind of candy that she likes and she's a picky eater.

We really enjoyed our takeout meal from Kimonos Chines Restaurant in Welland! Their chicken is especially good! We enjoyed the General Tao, chicken Lo Mein, two kinds of wontons (crispy & cheese) and chicken fried rice. It's all take out - the price was very modest for what we got. As far as I am concerned it's the best Chinese food in Welland and I can hardly wait to go there again and try the rest of the menu. Free delivery too if you order over $65.Someone posted a review complaining there wasn't any chicken in their General Tao - that certainly wasn't our experience - they should have contacted the restaurant because I am sure they would have made it right. Why post such a negative review?I would highly recommend the Kimono Restaurant! ??

chow mein - soft noodles? drowning in some chicken broth? its just salty, smooshy mess. tastes as bad as it looks. this is terribleHG ribs - really tough n dry, drowning it in honey garlic sauce is not gonna save it

Food was better than expected. They give you a decent portion. Not much to say about the atmosphere as it’s a takeout place. Price was cheaper than others in the area. The lady taking the order was pleasant. I’d definitely go here again if in the area.

I’m so disappointed they stopped the buffet. I moved nearby. I got very excited to go to the buffet often. I got my kids all excited to try new food because they liked the idea of the buffet. I assumed they’d never get rid of the very thing and only thing that really set kimonos apart from the many Chinese food places in Niagara. I am so disappointed. If they put the buffet back I’d be a weekly customer with my family, but I’m sure they won’t care. I’ll order elsewhere. Too disappointed by such a bad decision to eat at kimonos anymore. So many other options.

This restaurant tried to scam me! I ordered general Tao chicken and they gave me balled up flour and tried to convince me it was chicken! They are trying to reduce cost by add balled up flour and frying it to make it crunchy so you’ll think it’s chicken!!! The lady was very disrespectful and it was obvious she was shocked that I noticed the difference so quickly. Do not support this business!!
