I have been a long term customer of Sobeys and toggle between this location and the Fonthill one. The in-house bread is excellent, along with the seafood and produce. I can sometimes snag some meat deals on clearance. Trouble is that the prices of most things are truly outrageous. Many of the exact same items at a competitor a km away are often double the price. Regular meat prices are not sensible, and deli meat, for example, can be 3-4x the price of a local butcher. Pictured is a leg of lamb that was 3x the price of a similar one at other local stores at the same time. Staff are generally quite friendly and helpful.

I didn't see any worker with a smile on their face. And the cashier I had didn't ask about my scene card or if I wanted a bag! I had a baby with me. I also told her things were separate.. she said ok. But put them all together!
