We were coming to the Welland area for the RowOn Championships and as food tent coordinator, I was tasked with obtaining lunch for 60 rowers for both days of the regatta. The tricky part was that I needed to do this from Cincinnati, Ohio, 8 hours away in the US. I noted on the website the deli made different types of sandwich trays and wraps, and a quick call to talk to Jessie (and subsequent calls to Natalie) resulted in lunches that all the kids enjoyed—fresh, all details...
First, it is very accessible. Second, awesome staff. Deli has most of what you need for that critically acclaimed lunch or brunch. Yes, they have The Dagwood sandwich. The hot food section has a large selection of hot meals, sides, & specialty foods. Yes, they have a fantastc bakery and it is well stocked with breads, pastries, & cookies, fatjita's, pita, melba, etc. They have a Flower shop, too. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of stock. Clean facility. Produce meat and fish are fresh. Great and tasty selection of hot food. Fast cashiers. Plenty of parking though can be difficult getting in and out of the lot. Free WiFi. Carts are always available. Baskets available as well.
