Multiple times I drove there to pick up food before 9:45pm and the kitchen was closed. If you are scheduled to stay open until 10pm and your website says until 10pm, you stay open until 10pm and serve food until 10.

We attend this location quite often and have always been happy with all aspects here but today I was rather disappointed. My husband's hot beef was excellent, no complaints. My son and I ordered the wings. In the past we have been barely able to eat them because they were nice and plump and plenty of fries and the plate was very full. We always left quite happy with the amount we had to eat. Today the plate was very skimpy. Not many fries and the wings were tiny. The wings were always bigger and plump but not today. We left the restaurant still feeling hungry. Apparently there is also a rule that you can only have one flavour of sauce. When I asked about having two flavours for my 12 wings, the server actually rolled her eyes at me, prompting me to ask what the problem was. She informed me that they are not allowed to do that but she would make an exception this time. It made me feel very foolish. If this is the protocol,they why not mention this on the menu beside the choices of sauces. Just a note, I was a head cook in restaurant until I retired and we always obliged customers with more than one choice of sauce.When paying, my son used a gift card which left him with an additional amount to pay over the amount. That was confusing because she walked away without collecting that from him and he had to approach her at the main desk in order to pay her. For myself, I asked her to redeem 20 dollars worth of scene points for me, which she did not, so I also had to approach her about that but since she had no idea how to fix the mistake, I ended up not redeeming my points. I sincerely hope this isn't the start of bad things to come or I may be forced to avoid visiting.

My hubby and I frequently visit Swiss Chalet on Niagara Street and we both find wonderful wait staff there. I have already written about Stephanie but today I want to say a big thank you to both Emily and Evann. They are both perfect in executing their jobs but they are also just fun to interact with and be with. Our last visit I was teasing that I forgot to write my review for Emily only to forget to write one for Evann. Thus gals I am writing how wonderful you both are and how you both put a smile on our faces. We will be back of course. You both also never forget to tell us about the specials and save us money. This is important to retirees. Thank you for making an every day experience a more special one.
