Ye Olde Squire Welland

First time trying Ye olde squire. Was a busy friday night but service was prompt and we were seated immediately. The Canadian burger, Mac and cheese, and loaded potato skins were absolutely delicious. The fries were a little funky tasting but all in all was a good meal for the value. Servers were friendly and quick.

We plan on returning soon!

Parking: Located in the mall (has an outdoor entrance) so there is plenty of parking

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families, not a rowdy crowd.

My girlfriend and I have been here about four times since we moved to Welland in early 2023. I can’t seem to order anything other than the buffalo chicken fingers. They are by far the absolute best chicken fingers I’ve ever had. I seriously crave them weekly and will be coming back soon for more. Excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. 10/10.

I would like to Thank our Waitress, Missy for a most enjoyable lunch. It has been a long time since I have encountered such a dedicated server. Even though Missy was already serving a very large group, she gave my friend and I (2 Senior Ladies) her undivided attention. She was quick, but didn't make us feel rushed. Her smile was warm and endearing. She was patient and helpful while going over the menu items; and she anticipated our condiment needs. When I asked if I might have a little more gravy for my mashed potatoes, she asked if I would also like some more butter so that they would be creamier before adding the gravy. She let us sit and enjoy our coffee after our meal and waited for us to ask for the bill, instead of rushing us out. Thanks again Missy. We will be back soon and ask for your section.

Have eaten here several times as we are local residents. Most of the time the food is good and priced fairly. Fish and chips is always good and so are most of their specialty dishes like Shepherds Pie and bangers and mash.
Changed my choice this evening to a Bourbon burger and fries.
Should have ordered anything else besides this. Worst burger ever and have never tasted fries so coated and saturated in old, over used grease.
Complained and they took off $2.50 for the gut ache i received.
If that’s the best you can do,
Sorry, but probably our last time dining there.

We were waited on by Jody self proclaimed manager very slow taking order messed it up and gave us attitude not happy with slow service and the fact that she thought it was okay that 3 of us would eat in front of a4th person and then wait for her to eat by herself due to her error. We asked to keep our food warm while we waited she piled a plate on top of another and stormed off.i decided this was unacceptable decided we were leaving she then turned it on me because I have her attitude back. Very bad experience from the start. I recommended this place to many people never again.

If your sitting at the bar pop something. The bartenders are depressed, out of a mental ward during the day. I'm not expecting a therapy session but the pacing.............talk to your customers :)

Just had a bad experience, at ye ole squire in seaway mall. My son (4) was done eating by the time the rest of us got our food. Our order was wrong the waitress supposably a self proclaimed manager gave us attitude because we weren't happy that 3 of 4 of us had food and the 4th was incorrect. This was 25 minutes after we ordered. We then asked if she could take the correct orders back as we would like to all eat together with warm food. The server then proceeded to grab our plates forcefully putting them ontop of eachother squishing all the food. The server at this point was visibly showing her fustrstion. At this point we decided to leave expressing to the server that is not how customers should be treated. The server then return from the back "from putting our food away" and proceeded to be very confrontational and yelling at us as we were leaving the establishment. I understand that mistakes happen "that's life" but owning them and making them right with positive decisions are well within our control. This situation could of been handled differently. Very disappointed with a place I used to suggest to people. NO MORE!
