We had made reservations for 10 family members for a boxing day dinner. The storm of Christmas 2022 prevented out of town members from driving to Wellington and we had to cancel. Thanks to East and Main they opened up the next day to accommodate us. The service and food was outstanding. Thankyou for saving the day... we'll all be back again.
Intimate and cozy atmosphere. Our waitress Michelle was really friendly with a great sense of humor. The food; Steak & mushrooms w/ a generous side of fries and vegetables and Chicken w/ wild mushrooms, smashed potatoes and vegetables. All so fresh and extremely delicious!! A melt in your mouth, forget to take pictures and dream about it for days after kind of experience. Amazing!
We were enjoying a wonderful meal, food was great, ambiance is comfortable, on its way to being an outstanding evening….. until, while enjoying the last of my glass of wine, we were told by our server that their next guest was waiting for our table. We were absolutely shocked that having been there for only an hour, and spending $146.00 + tip for dinner, we were being asked to hurry up and leave. I have never experienced anything like this before and it may be a long time, if ever, before we return. As new residents to Wellington we will continue our search for our new local haunt.
Was there celebrating a friend's birthday while visiting in Prince Edward County. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the cocktails and food excellent. One of the best restaurant meals I have had in a long time. Would highly recommend this place.
My blackened salmon was perfectly cooked and served with a delicious Thai salad and jasmine rice. Since the cool salad rings the rice, the rice was specifically served at room temperature. My husband had the lamb shank with garlic mashed potatoes and a wonderful mixture of fresh tender crisp vegetables. We started with an asparagus/leek soup and had a glass of wine each. The staff is friendly and extremely efficient. A bit old fashioned in its decor but that is part of its charm.
Busy spot for a reason. Plan ahead to get resos to dine here. Excellent staff, great wine list and a large menu that caters to all. Everything we ordered was skillfully prepared with seasonal and fresh ingredients. Very tasty, we would return again.
Had the Blackened Atlantic Salmon which was very nice but the very plain white (jasmine) rice served with it was absolutely cold. The salad accompanying it was good. But we noticed that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which we weren't aware of. THEN, when we went to pay at the cash the waitress didn't seem to be aware of this gratuity charge practice, pretending to know nothing about it. So we would have ended up paying a 40% tip, if we hadn't been careful.

From the moment we came in the door, servers were engaging and welcoming. Our entry of warm olives, almonds and grilled sourdough was unique and very tasteful. Our mains of ravioli and chicken were scrumptious and the sauces on each dishes were perfect! Our servers were exactly as attentive to ensure a perfect dining experience! Well done and thank you for a lovely time. We also appreciated the local wines on the menu as well as the locally sourced ingredients in the menu selections.
I loved this place! The food is so delicious. They have a pro chef and they really made my night at Wellington! We order a Salmon dish, a Fruit Salad, and a Burger! All of them were yummy! Will definitely come back there again!

Amazing Food.If you are staying in Prince Edward County and want to go out to eat, definitely give this place a go. Staff were very friendly and kind to our big group.Steak was amazing, highly recommend. The Naan tacos were very good and a great option for vegetarians. Beef pot pie was alright, however would not order it again. The ravioli was also really good.Overall highly recommend. Price is reasonable and not too bad considering it’s a tourist spot. Will come again when we are there.
Great experience, food was amazing - especially the ravioli. I had the jumbalaya and the only critique I have was it was a little too soupy but it didn't ruin the experience.
Look, the staff and service are great, and the food is fresh. They run a tight and organized ship. My only qualm is that some of the dishes lack risk, imagination, creativity , and spice. The jumbalaya and salmon dishes need more kick. Other than that, good !
Just across from our inn. Very delicious food and and extensive and excellent wine list, including 2009 Keint-He Pinot noir. Mushoom ravioli had a rich and flavourful sauce. Service was slow - apparently short-staffed. A heads up or acknowledgement would have been nice.
Our Waitress was the best part of our visit. The Medium Rare steak was Raw, the Jumbalaya was like soup, watery. 12.00 a drink, meaning a shot! Was a loud environment, not a quiet romantic experience. We spent for just 2 people, 168.00 for our dinner. Then when paying, the hostess put the debit tap machine on the Tip screen! Not going to be a repeat customer.
