Just spent the weekend in Prince Edward County and went to Karlo Estates twice because we loved it so much! The atmosphere is awesome and the staff are fabulous! Bella, Abby and Raelyn were so friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent service and wine. We will be back!

What a very unique experience for a winery! We had a tasting paired with vegan cheese and crackers. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing with air conditioning for this hot day! The reds were lovely… bought a case of triumviriate. After the wine, we walked through the vineyards to a stone bridge. This was a lovely way to end our self tour of a the region.

I appreciate it’s a business that fluctuates based on the whims of large groups of people, and we popped in for a quick taster and to subsequently buy a couple of bottles.
Negatives - a group of customers who were acting entitled and demanding who were stressing out the staff, which in turn made the place seem disorganised as no one was available for the walk ins.

We had a wonderful experience at Karlo Estates thanks to Sherry! I called ahead and she went above and beyond to accommodate my family for a wine tasting. My son is non-ambulatory and Sherry made sure we all had a comfortable spot at the bar. She even sanitized the bar top for my other child, who has a severe nut allergy, and thoughtfully included her in the tasting with some delicious lemonade. It really meant a lot to feel so welcomed and cared for. Thank you, Sherry!

We love going to PEC and bike to a few wineries each time, grab pizza and have an ok time at each winery. We normally buy a bottle to support local.
Karlo Estates was a completely different experience. They WOWed us with their approach and their wines! Sherry and Saxe explained to us their history and the history of the vineyard and made us feel like friends. The atmosphere is like no other in the region. We loved the wine so much we bought a case. Since we were on bikes, Saxe delivered the bottles to our airbnb that evening. Best service ever and a day we will remember for a long time.
This is the GEM of PEC!
And vegans will be pleasantly surprised!

Loved the wine and the ambiance, great place. However, I have to admit that we did not appreciate how we were welcomed. I love wine, i wanted to do the testing and buy some products. My spouse does not drink wine, but he was kind enough to accompany me. We were made to feel bad about that by the hostess, who was a bit rude. It made for an awkward moment, we fid not really know how to react, and it cast a shadow over our visit.
