We visited as a bachelorette group and were initially happy that this popular restaurant was able to accommodate our large party with a same-day reservation. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. It was clear the wait staff and kitchen were understaffed, as food took a long time to arrive, and we weren’t given any warning about delays.
After sharing appetizers, most of us ordered two tacos each. Everyone received their meals except me — I only got one taco. I let the server know, but by the time the mix-up was acknowledged, the rest of the table had already finished eating. I didn’t want to hold up the group or eat alone, so I asked to cancel the missing taco. Instead of responding with understanding, the server pointed to the one person who happened to still be packing up their food and said someone was “still eating.” That comment really soured the experience; empathy would have gone a lot further.
The food itself was delicious, but the service left enough of a negative impression that I wouldn’t return.

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. It’s a ‘small plates’ menu. We started with the guacamole, salsa and chips. The salsa was amazing, probably the best I’ve ever had. I had a tostada, and my sisters had tacos. Everything was very tasty, service was great!
