Atmosphere is great, service was really good as well, but I feel the food is a bit over rated. It was fine, but not as good as many of the reviews on here, just a little underwhelming.

We had a lovely meal, served fast and hot. The service was friendly and good humoured - the realised I don't like coriander (cilantro) and offered to remove it from my next dish without me asking, which was great. Atmosphere was nice too, comfortable music level and nice buzz without being noisy. If go back for sure.

Food was amazing, cocktails spectacular, service prompt and friendly. We were offered the home-made habanero hot-sauce, which was excellent and nicely spicy. We asked if it was available for take out, and were told yes. We paid and on the way out they gave us a very leaky pot of oil - both more expensive that promised, and completely unlike what was served at the table - and then tried to tell us we were wrong when we questioned it. Moral of the story - don't buy the takeout hot-sauce, it's a scam.

Lovely place in downtown Wellington. Traditional style Mexican food. The corn was amazing as were the potato flautas. If you are worried about the size of the tacos, don't be, they are well filled, we had chicken, beef and pork and the amount of meat in each was huge. We were full as we left and all for a reasonable price. We sat at the bar which was great, had a chance to chat with the staff and watch the bar servers so their magic for drinks.

I am vegan, I was so impressed with the options that they had for me here. Including vegan cheese, which was phenomenal! AND I could have a dessert here! Staff was very precise on asking questions about dietary restrictions. I have walked by here in the summer and it is always crazy busy. Would definitely make a reservation in the summer on a weekend. Great variety of food. The Rice Pudding is better than my mother’s! The orange zest in it, stealing this idea for mine!
