We go to Midtown just about weekly all through the year - it's one of our favourite, laidback places in PEC for a pint and a bite. Lisa and the whole staff are excellent.
Food and beer are great, but the customer service is terrible. Not friendly at all. Gave us no option but to stand and eat our food after it started raining hard. Couldn’t stay on the patio. Boo!!
Best takeout.
excellent food, drinks, service, and atmosphere!!
We have been coming to Midtown more regularly and we are so grateful to have this resto-pub in the County! We usually have the marinara and their vegan seasonal pizza and are always happy with our meal - the crust is excellent. The fries are also really good! So great to see a restaurant with vegan options that are delicious! The service is also friendly and fast. Our fave place in the County!
Midtown Brewing was such a great spot! The stout on nitro tap was smooth and full of flavor. We had the mushroom wood-fired pizza and buffalo chicken tenders—both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. I also picked up some merch, which was really high quality. Definitely a place I’d return to!
Excellent staff. Always a greeting with a smile. Excellent beer and pizza. A must visit if going to Wellington
Stopped in for a quick Saturday afternoon pint or two and some food. Service was prompt and courteous. Sat at the bar and bartender was attentive and engaging. Ordered a plate of the fries, which were great, would definitely recommend. It was a November Saturday, so about 70% of the table were full. If you come in the summer it gives the appearance of a place that would get quite full. Would be worthwhile looking into reserving a table. Good vibes, solid comfort food, good venue.
As a fan of a great stout, I typically buy Guinness because so many of our local craft breweries think that stout should taste like chocolate. As a result I have become overly cautious when trying a new stout. Imagine my surprise, then, when I tried Midtown Brewing's Dry Irish Stout and found that not only was it NOT chocolate flavoured, but that it was every bit as good as a Guinness. Way to go Midtown. I'll definitely be looking for Dry Irish Stout again the next time I'm at the LCBO. Cheers.
Tried the ESB , One of the better bitters I've tasted in Ontario over the last 20 years

Good food for a pub. Nice beers. Good service.
Great pizza! Also good service and an interesting selection of beers. A must stop!
Great spot for a drink and some food. The fries are amazing, ESB is a firm favourite
First visit amazing food and amazing beer thanks to claudia she took good care of us .....
Highly recommend. The food was so good and the service was chill but available. We brought our dogs to their outdoor patio section and it was perfect.
