Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

Really enjoyed our time here. Great food and friendly staff, couldn't have asked for a better experience. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

While having a beautiful hockey team lunch. We stumbled across an angry waitress who was very rude and obnoxious. She purposely hid my friends food just to make him wait 2 hours for it when everyone else finished. Personally you will never see me in this premises again.

Great food and view of the harbour and Lake. The buffalo Sammy was tasty and had a good kick. A fresh grilled (non breaded) chicken fillet option would be nice. Justin the cook is eager for feedback and came out to say hi. Super guy and great cook.

Marisa our server was super helpful and made me a tasty Caesar while chatting with the regulars over by the bar. She's a keeper

My companion had the fish and chips - also recommended.

PS Pete's Pro Tip: get there around 2pm for the shoulder period, for quieter atmosphere and even awesomer service.

Justin, the new cook, does real wonders in the kitchen! The dishes are delicious with a touch of “je ne sais quoi” that raises the bar for pub food.
The atmosphere with the live band was very pleasant.

I never post anything negative, ever! However, this place was so bad, in every possible respect, I feel it's my duty to let any unsuspecting public know. First of all, I don't know how they can even call it a restaurant. It's a cafeteria at best. There is absolutely no ambiance whatsoever. The walls are white with no decoration, it is brightly lit and the live entertainment was awful! What they lacked in talent, they made up for in volume! I should have known by the menus, that looked as if they had been dropped in the street & run over by twenty tractors, that the food listed on it would be bad. Some of the printing on them was illegible. The food was even more horrible than I could have imagined and the service worse. I ordered an Avocado BLT. The bread & avocado were OK, the bacon overcooked & the tomato not yet ripe. I won't even get into the lettuce. There were 4 of us & we were given 3 napkins. I asked for gravy for my fries that came with the sandwich. It was $5 for a side of gravy. Because I was on vacation, I decided to pay the $5. When it came it was grey, had the consistency of gruel & no taste whatsoever! I sent it back. Of course, there was no ketchup on the table. The fries were ice cold anyway so it was no problem leaving them. The wine list was dismal so we ordered draft beer which came flat. We then ordered bottled beer. My boyfriend ordered a second beer which, of course, never came. To their credit, they took the $5, for whatever that was that passed for gravy, off the bill & they did not charge us for the beer that never came. The patio did look nice but it was a bit cool so we did not try it out. Whatever you do, unless you are a glutton for punisment, avoid this place at all costs!

The reviews here are either 1 or 5 stars, so we didn't expect it to be great, but it turned out to be laughably bad. Here are the highlights:

- when the server was asked what the rotating tap was, she said "Midtown". When asked which Midtown beer it was, she said "the dark one". It did not turn out to be a dark beer.
- one diner ordered the butter chicken. It turns out they were out of butter chicken so they just picked satay chicken for that person instead of asking him what else he would want.
- the cheese on my grilled cheese was still fridge temperature cold. I pointed it out, the server took it back and returned approx 60 seconds later with the same sandwich. I'm assuming it was microwaved, but the cheese was still cold.
- the grilled cheese did not have the caramelized onions it was supposed to have on it. I assume they also ran out of that.
- after coming back with my grilled cheese the server disappeared and never returned to ask us how the food was/if we needed anything. There was not enough cutlery for everyone at the table, so we shared forks.

We were in good spirits so we just laughed it off, but my god was this place truly terrible.

As a person that lives here I find it disappointing.
We used to go for pulled pork, fish & vegetables.
I loved the donair.
It seems like people from the city are running it until the tourists leave.
They don’t know how to deal with the local people
