It was a lovely sunny evening but we were told we couldn't sit out on the patio because it was too blustery (there was no wind at all). The dining room is strange and cold. The food was ok. There was a rowdy, sweary crowd yesterday that put me off. I don't think I can recommend Pounders.
My family had a very enjoyable experience having dinner here. The staff were friendly and overall it was a good atmosphere. We didn't have reservations, and didn't know what to expect in terms of the food, but we were pleasantly surprised. We have a small child, and felt welcomed.
This was a little disappointing. We were here for lunch based on recent reviews. There was nothing very pub looking about this restaurant. It was somewhat bare in decor and lacking ambiance. We had to wait to be seated whilst staff went to and fro when all it would take is telling us someone will be with us shortly. Once we were seated though, service was fine. The food was fine too though expensive for what it was..It was a cold and windy day so the patio was not in use...perhaps...
