The Old Greenhouse Ice Cream Shop in Wellington is a must visit. They have tons of flavors, including some really unique ones you won’t find anywhere else. The portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and creamy.
I love that there’s lots of space to order inside and also plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy.
There’s lots of parking. This place really is a true hidden gem in Prince Edward County. Highly recommend, it’s worth every scoop.

Best ice cream shop in our area, hands down! Locally owned and operated by the owner and her family/local students. The staff are always friendly, even during a rush of customers, which is very common for the Old Greenhouse Ice Cream Shop! They sell a selection of Central Smith, a variety of other soft serve choices with many toppings. Our children rollerblade down to get their Razzle’s. My favourite go to is the Vanilla Razzle with brownies and black cherry (strawberry when it is sold out). My wife loves the chocolate dip as it’s like going back in time!

We look forward to this place every summer and sad when the summer comes to an end!

Was looking for a cold treat during a very hot week in PEC. The Old Greenhouse Shop did not disappoint. Plenty of unique flavours and options served by extremely friendly and patient staff. So good that we went twice in two days. Highly recommend!

Parked in their parking lot, the sign says parking is for customers only, the sign mentions no time limit, bought ice cream, was getting ready to head for a swim at Wellington beach for 1 hour but 2 of the workers ran outside to tell us to move our car out of their parking lot and to park in another business’ parking lot instead. We felt like this was not really nice considering we were in fact customers and would have put us at risk for getting a ticket if we parked elsewhere and were not a customer. Left a sour taste in our mouth and will not be going back or recommending this place to others. Ice cream was also quite hard and expensive.

The servings I have discovered are large. I have downgraded to a kiddie size. Can be busy but always fast service. Picnic tables are available to sit and enjoy your treat.
