We ordered 5 drinks, they mixed up two orders and didn’t admit their mistake. Drinks are overly sweet when we purposely say to put less sugar inside one of our orders.

Every time I go in, even if the place is empty, I’m still waiting 10 minutes or more for a simple coffee. It doesn’t feel like a coffee shop anymore — it feels like Canadians are being made a mockery of in our own country, by a company that once represented us. Between rising prices, poor service, and staff who don’t seem to care, it’s no wonder people are turning away from Tim Hortons. It’s heartbreaking to watch a place that used to feel so Canadian lose all its heart.

I waited 30 minutes on a donut and the lady at the cash could barley understand English took me 10 minutes to place a 3 item order shouod never take that long, if she can’t read the screen send her back

Absolutely Disgraceful Customer Service – Tim Hortons, September 29th, 2024

I am absolutely disgusted by the service I received at this Tim Hortons on the night of September 29th, between 9:00 and 9:30 pm. To say the staff were rude is an understatement. The guy working, a Punjabi turbaned man, was completely out of line, and his behavior was absolutely unacceptable!

I asked for a simple drink with hot chocolate and heavy cream – something I’ve ordered without issue at countless other Tim Hortons. But this guy, from the moment I placed my order, decided to act like I was asking for the moon! His attitude was unbearable. Every second, he kept reminding me in a condescending tone that everything was extra – extra chocolate pump, extra cream – as if I wasn’t aware or prepared to pay for my own drink. He was rude, dismissive, and acted like my request was beneath him.

When I finally got my drink, it tasted like NOTHING but milk! I politely told the girl working with him that it was missing the chocolate flavor, and she immediately took it to add an extra pump. But that’s when the real audacity kicked in. This unprofessional, ill-mannered guy had the nerve to question her RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, telling her not to add more chocolate because it “costs money”! WHAT?! Are you kidding me? Is this how you treat paying customers, Tim Hortons?

At that point, I’d had enough, and when I confronted him, instead of apologizing, he starts YELLING at me, saying, “I’m a Financial Service Representative at TD Bank, I only work here part-time!” WHO CARES? You could be working for the Queen of England for all I care, but when you're behind the counter at Tim Hortons, you need to learn how to do your job right and treat customers with BASIC RESPECT! I don’t care if you're a Financial Service Rep, Elon Musk, or the Prime Minister – you’re working at Tim Hortons, so act like it and serve your customers without the entitlement and arrogance!

This experience was absolutely infuriating. Tim Hortons, you seriously need to train your staff better. Teach them that no matter where they work part-time, they should have the DECENCY to talk to customers politely, make the order correctly, and keep their entitled egos in check. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at any Tim Hortons, and I will NOT be returning to this location. Train your employees or get rid of them!
