A Tavola has an upscale vibe. Menu certainly has some jewels. We had the Flatbread appetizer as a starter and ordered cocktails. Both were very good, my Caesar was perfect! We had the Lamb Shank with amazing Moroccan flavors served on Polenta and the Chicken Parmigiano with moist, perfectly prepared chicken w/pasta and a rich tomato sauce. We finished with a fresh & fruity dessert. The service was attentive, the dinner was amazing, the decor and atmosphere were relaxing and pleasant. We enjoyed a lovely evening at A Tavola

We went there on my birthday for a family dinner, this place doesn't disappoint, always the same fresh delicious taste, beautiful presentation and a very lovely hospitality, The staff are always knowledgeable about everything they serve, they are always on top of everything we need, A beautiful hidden gem in Whitby, definitely definitely a place to go to for a delicious dinner and would highly recommend it I advise you book a table before going there as the restaurant is small and cozy

Excellent food, reminds me of upscale homemade Italian. Everything tastes great but isn't overly salty or buttery, which we liked. Service is fast. Moderately priced menu. We will check them out again in the future.

First time trying this place. The food quality and presentation were really good. We had the antipasto which was very good, it had variety of items, meats, cheeses, veg etc. For mains we tried the salmon and the strip loin steak. Both very good. Servers were attentive, personable and professional. All in all very good value if you are looking for an upscale meal.
