The food was good. The wait staff was ok. We were told that she did not want to repeat herself more than once. We had people in our group who do not hear well...so sometimes you have to repeat.
The food is a bit pricey but it was delicious.

We went there on my birthday for a family dinner, this place doesn't disappoint, always the same fresh delicious taste, beautiful presentation and a very lovely hospitality, The staff are always knowledgeable about everything they serve, they are always on top of everything we need, A beautiful hidden gem in Whitby, definitely definitely a place to go to for a delicious dinner and would highly recommend it I advise you book a table before going there as the restaurant is small and cozy

Excellent food, reminds me of upscale homemade Italian. Everything tastes great but isn't overly salty or buttery, which we liked. Service is fast. Moderately priced menu. We will check them out again in the future.

First time trying this place. The food quality and presentation were really good. We had the antipasto which was very good, it had variety of items, meats, cheeses, veg etc. For mains we tried the salmon and the strip loin steak. Both very good. Servers were attentive, personable and professional. All in all very good value if you are looking for an upscale meal.
I’ve dined here many times over the years, but this was my first visit since before COVID. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it still is (actually maybe even better). The food was excellent, the service fantastic, and the overall experience was great. The prices are a bit high, but I’ll definitely be back.

When we moved to Durham from uptown Toronto 10 years ago we looked for a local restaurant that could compare with the places we had been spoiled with near our old home. The first place we went to was A Tavola. We were wonderfully pleased with how incredible the food was. Ten years and multiple dinners later, A Tavola is still one of our favourite restaurants. The food is spectacular, the staff kind and accommodating and the atmosphere warm and pleasant. Thank you for continuing to provide such an incredible experience.
