I eat here often and they are very consistent. I do food delivery as well and highly enjoy picking up orders here as they are generally efficient. Food is good quality.

Stepping into Asia Express one hopes for a culinary journey featuring fresh fish and artfully crafted rolls, but our visit delivered only a truly disappointing experience defined by utter mediocrity and truly abysmal service. The sushi itself has a study in mediocre; the rice was gummy , many dishes lacking flavour and taste, Rolls, loosely constructed, offered uninspired combinations and fell apart upon the slightest touch, rendering the entire meal forgettable. However, the true low point was the customer service. Our server seemed actively disengaged from the moment we arrived, greeting us with indifference and maintaining a palpable air of annoyance throughout our meal. Forgotten requests, eye-rolls in response to simple questions, and brusque, dismissive replies made us feel less like valued customers and more like an inconvenience. The combination of forgettable cuisine and actively hostile service transformed what should have been a pleasant dinner into a deeply regrettable evening. Take your money and your appetite to Rainbow Sushi; because Asia Express is one sushi spot to avoid at all costs.

Came back here after a long time of not being around and things have really gone downhill. Everything from cutting requested portions at an ALL YOU CAN EAT, to not even serving items that were requested. Charging Mandarin weekend pricing on a weekday and being dismissive to us and avoiding our table as much as possible then expecting a 10% service charge on top of the ridiculously inflated prices. Save your money, Oshawa has many better all you can eat sushi options and as much as this was a hot spot for me for a long time, the place has become nothing but cold.

The food I ordered was tasteless, dry, and overpriced. The fried tofu had a strange sour taste. The edamame was pasty and sweet, an odd flavour. Chicken balls dry and grainy. Never again.
Absolutely love this spot!! It’s my go to place for sushi and after going for years, I’ve never been let down. Fresh veggies, made to order, and the staff are so friendly.

Restaurantji Recommends
Worst sushi restaurant ive experienced in the durham area so far. The miso soup came out orange and tasted weird. The kitchen food was bland and greasy. The fish subpar. I left hungry as i didnt want to order more. I will not be returning.
Also, they charged $2.50 for green tea when most sushi restaurants have complimentary green tea.

This place was not great, consider heading to mito sushi in Bowmanville for a nicer experience. The service here was very slow, and the food was bland. I know it's a trope to say both of those things in a resto review but I promise, the food was actually bland.

Not even 1star! Server is rude, she yelled on me when as asked about our order because we are waiting for 30 mins and they only served this in 30 mins. Worse experience. Don’t come here if you don’t have a patient to wait for 30mins for the first order to come.
Lunch for $25 is a good deal. Food was really good. I don't like the tablet ordering. Hard to keep track of what you order.

This is our go to sushi place. The staff always show kindness. They remember you if you've been there before and show their appreciation. They really start the visit off in such a great way. The food is amazing. This is one of the only places we've been where when you get all you can eat you get 3 or 4 rolls per order instead of 6. This allows us to try so many different types of rolls before getting filled up. We've done takeout too and it's always fresh and delicious. Highly recommened the beef teriyaki. I would always recommend this sushi place to anyone!
