Restaurant is a bit small to sit in, but I love the food here! My favourites are the Tom yum, chicken satay, massaman curried beef, and the pad kee mao. Highly recommend this place!

food was 0/10. Pad Thai was missing peanut sauce and smelled bad. Thai curry was missing coconut milk (I know this because it was watery like soup). overall no thank you.

Amazing food. Quick service. There is room for improvement for ambiance. Not too much seats for dinning.

Hi we went to Bangrak restaurant for lunch . This place was very highly recommended to us by our neighbours because it was very authentic for them. They love the food and many choices. When we got there just after 12 noon on the blistery cold day it was very cold inside. Place was very small and not very clean . No customers yet we were only one.We ordered from lunch menu and some from the regular one too. We ordered green tea and Tom yom soup to warm up. Soup came fast but it was very little to share between us two .. only 3 shrimps, 2 mushrooms and piece of tomato. It was salty and only one cup for 10$ . I ordered green chicken curry from lunch menu with rice and two spring rolls 15$ it was just ok . My husband got chicken with sticky rice no vegetables with his dish at all 17$ from reg menu. He took some chicken home . .Our bill came to 60$ with tip. Way too expensive for just ok food . I visited ladies room and almost got frost bite. The side doors were open and it was very very cold in the rest rooms. ..when I made the trip to the rest room . I passed by the kitchen and that was not a nice site . My husband payed already and wanted to go...I was going to complain but he does not like to do that... It was very expensive disappitment

Ordered pad kee mao with chicken. Very nice flavor but the chicken was so overcooked it was like shoe leather. Put me off what would've been a great dish.

Could not be more impressed with the quality of food and pleasant service. Went hungry with four of us and ordered about half the menu and everything was delicious. Was used to bland food in the area and was surprised by the quality of Bangrak. Will be ordering from here again maybe every Friday as our new ritual place !

I recently visited Bangrak and the food was pretty good for Durham region. I had the Kai Yang, I found the sticky rice to be a bit stiff but the chicken was good. The Thai iced tea was delicious. The only issue I had was how cold it was in there! There was no second door on the inside so everytime someone came in we got a wind of cold air.It was nice that they had their own parking out back, although limited. It was an overall 7/10 experience

I've been looking forward to try this place for awhile . Unfortunately it was a disappointment.Ordered:- Crispy Pad Thai with chicken : chicken was very limited ( there was more tofu ) and extremely dry. Portion was very small for the price $18. Noodles were not crispy and super oily/ soggy - granted I ordered take out. It tasted like the soggy won ton chips in a noodle dish :S- Khao Soi- this had to be the most authentic tasting dish . I'm not a fan of curry and thought this tasted not bad. Portion again was smaller than other places we've been to- KHAO PAD KA PRAO- this tasted like Chinese fried rice with super dry as sand beef. Taste wise was not bad but not authentic Thai and not what I expected. Again not worth it for the price point $19

Pretty good spot for Thai food locally here in Whitby. Tried a few items including the veggie spring rolls (good), chicken satay (pretty good quantity as well as the taste especially with peanut sauce) and the green Thai curry (good but perhaps a little too runny). Overall good spot.
