Bollocks Pub & Kitchen - Whitby Patio

Have to say this is the first time of posting bad review. We have come to this location at least 10 times in the past year. They have scaled back on the menu. We waited 1 hr for our food to arrive. Ordered wings and Ceasar salad. The wings were totally overcooked to the point they were hard. The salad was swimming in dressing and was not edible. Definitely will find another place. No wonder there other locations closed.

Three of us went there on Wednesday 10th Sept. It was unusually quiet , the menu had been reduced to a sheet of A4 ( Overtime menu) . The usual pub stuff , but there was a serious lack of beers on tap . ( Coors and Canadian only). Food arrived promptly but was very underwhelming .
I have been there many times in the past and had a decent time.
Maybe it's going through a change, if not, unfortunately I go elsewhere .

Don’t pay their entertainment! Shameful!

This place is the very definition of your friendly neighbourhood bar. The menu is standard pub fare (my kids love their burgers and poutine), the service is always extremely friendly and you’ll always be greeted with a smile. Giant TVs on the wall for sports and a lively crowd for big games. You couldn’t ask for more from your local.

First time at this locations. I’ve been to the Pickering one and was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed.
The space itself is pretty run down…but still gives a pub vibe. Server was friendly. Provided extremely quick service.
The food was pretty decent and at a fair price. We were just super disappointed in the kids pasta…ordered 2 with marinara sauce and it was spicy!!!!! I love spice and even I found it a bit spicy. My kids would not even touch it after the first bite. Was offered more sauce to cover up the spices that they supposedly add to the pasta…but it’s the sauce that had the spice. Everything else was fine. Just a little disappointing as my kids were not interested in eating at all and the only resolution was more sauce?? Paid for 2 kids meals and neither one was touched.

Best spot to grab wings and catch the game. Food is exceptional for a sports pub. Always great service from Will & staff, whether grabbing a quick bite at the bar or hosting a party.

Best wings (roasted red pepper garlic & anything) good vibes and great service. Their chief mixologist William isn’t very nice or that good looking but is the best bartender in the Durham region & gta area. The rest of the staff is great except Izzy.

It’s our local and we love it. Great drinks, food, atmosphere and the best staff! We look forward to wing night on Tuesdays and we are so happy when we sit in Jaime’s section. She’s just awesome! She brings our drinks to us before we even order them. So spoiled. She knows are orders off her heart. Highly recommend. :)

Ordered fries and chicken wings through SkipTheDishes, both were a complete letdown. The fries were dry, overcooked and filled with burnt black pieces. They tasted stale and no one in our family wanted to eat them, we ended up throwing the whole box away.

The chicken wings were just as bad, overly greasy with black spots that made them look burnt or possibly spoiled. The texture and taste were off, and definitely not fresh.

Totally not worth the money. Very disappointed with this order and won’t be ordering from this place again.

I love this place but tonight I did not have a good experience- I was enjoying my meal when someone asked for the tv in front if me be changed from tennis to baseball. Without checking with others their request was granted ? They didn’t actually watch the game - they were too focused on their phone. So disappointing- I left early so I could watch the tennis at home. Very inconsiderate!

Unfortunately, after several months without coming, we had a very bad experience with the service, the food, very well, by the way, but everything is not worth it with the service, so if you are encouraged to work and with a bad face, even with my 2-year-old baby, if your waitresses had a bad day, do not get even with the client.

Ordered a special of 2 pounds of wings with a pitcher for $30. I got 8 wings. Pretty sure that is only 1 pound if I’m lucky. Wasn’t worth complaining, watched the table across from me wait 40 minutes for there order and they had to wait another 10-15 mins for there server to come back so they could complain about there order. Found it funny on the bottom of my bill the restaurant encourages you to tip a minimum of 18% as well.

I love the garlic bread chicken parm and the butter chicken mac n cheese. Will is the best, feels like the heart and soul of the bar
