We visited this Boston Pizza to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday and were seated in the dining room. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious. Initially, hockey was playing on the TVs, which we enjoy, but partway through our visit, the TVs were switched to UFC fighting. The content was extremely gory, with visible blood, and completely inappropriate for a family dining area—especially with young children present. I would understand if it was playing in the bar.
I did speak to the manager at the time, who apologized, but explained that people asked to watch it and so the programming was not changed and no action was taken to address the situation. For a restaurant that markets itself as family-friendly, this was disappointing and uncomfortable.
I hope management reconsiders what is shown in dining areas during family hours. This experience took away from what should have been a special celebration.

Service was excellent overall and our server made a point to smile and engage with the child in our party often. They were also kind enough to switch one of the TVs so someone in our party could watch the Leafs game. Food came out quick and was tasty. Overall a great spot for families or groups with kids.

Amazing experience at Boston Pizza Whitby! The food and ambience were both absolutely amazing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavour. The vibe in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming — perfect for a night out. Huge shoutout to Vinny, who was truly outstanding! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. His service really took the whole experience to the next level. Can’t wait to come back!

Horrible service. We came here for a birthday dinner. Everything was extremely slow and we were horribly neglected by the server… she was literally no where to be found, not to check on us, not too refill our water jug, not to clear our appetizer plates, not even to serve our dinner (two other staff helped out). We arrived at 5:30 pm with six children and we weren’t served food until 7 pm. We observed several tables who arrived after us and finished their food before we got ours. It was an unpleasant birthday experience and we left without any dessert because we didn’t want to wait any longer.

We shared a large Caesar salad and triple play. It was really good and our server was the best, Heather .

We had reservations for 12. They brought out my daughter's spaghetti first and it was ice cold so sent back. Then everyone else's food came out and it was all ice cold as well pasta, chicken everything. They offered to remake everything but we had already waited an hour and my daughters second round came out cold again so we opted to pack up everything and leave. They gave a very small discount for inconvenience and some coupons. Unfortunately it wasn't even busy so I worry what it would be like if it was . Won't be returning to this location. It was also for Mother's Day :(
