Went for brunch with my mom and sister. The wait time was a lot but the food was really good. I hope in the future this place can expand and hopefully have shorter wait times lol
The service was ok. Our server wasn’t very attentive. Sometimes she put things on our table near the edge without even looking at us.. but honestly this was that big of a deal to me (it was for my mom though so she asked me to put this in my review).
I really enjoyed my food. I ate everything. And although I usually like taking my leftovers with me, there were no leftovers from any of us. We all agreed it was the perfect amount of food. It was enough to fill you but also not too much to eat within a 30-40 minute time period.
Also I want to add something I just now noticed: I ordered a hot chocolate and the server asked if I wanted whipped cream on top. I said sure. I didn’t realise that was an extra charge. Nothing I hate more than when an establishment offers you something and doesn’t tell you it’s an extra charge. Yeah it’s only a dollar and honestly I still would have gotten it anyways but that’s really not that point. I would have liked the opportunity to say no to any added charges.

I had a delicious brunch at Brunch&Co. this morning. I ordered the chicken and waffles and loved that they offered a hot honey sauce as an option, it was absolutely amazing! Honestly, one of the best brunches I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back, and it’s super convenient for Durham locals as well.

I went on a Wednesday morning and there was no wait time and the staff was very friendly. I got the fried chicken eggs Benedict and an ice coffee and it was spectacular. The eggs Benedict portion was large and tasted fresh. I highly recommend that plate and I will be coming back!

Aside from the prices, which are quite high for what we got, the quality of the food was lacking. We got the avocado toast. The brioche may not have been the best option for this type of food, as it made every bite dry. Another major issue was that there was no seasoning on anything. For the price, I expected more.

Canceled the meal before we received our order. Owner is rude, condescending, and has a bad attitude. At first I thought it was me but then when my friend came to join us she noticed it too. She dashed our waters at us on the table. She did not smile her whole interaction with us. Then another lady came in and sat down. She threw the menu towards her and did not say anything. The lady had to call after he TWICE before she even acknowledged her and said anything. My friend and I had decided we had enough. We asked for the bill and the owner said that its okay we dont have to pay for the drinks and we left. First impressions are everything. I will not be spending my hard earned money at a place that treats myself and others like this. It was disappointing to say the least, cause tiktok reviews said the food was good. But judging by these reviews, the food isnt even that good so we really didnt miss out on anything. Note to the owner; people notice everything and your poor demeanour spoke volumes - it doesn’t go unnoticed. Customer service is EVERYTHING
We ended up going to stacked pancakes on garden avenue in Whitby! Hopefully, you dont have a bad experience like we did.
