After attempting to eat at your establishment tonight I felt I had no choice to write this review. I understand being busy, stressed, and understaffed during the holidays..however, that wasn’t the case tonight. My partner and I waited to be served for more than 10 minutes while multiple staff members chatted behind the counter refusing to take our order, only to then take the order of a group who sat down after us. I have never walked out of a restaurant due to poor service and that changed tonight.

My friend and I approached the host stand, which was unattended, and waited several minutes despite the café being nearly empty. When we moved toward a nearby table, a pastry chef shouted, “Someone will seat you in a minute,” in a rude and unwelcoming tone, even though she had clearly seen us waiting at the host stand.
We were then seated at an uncomfortable table pressed against the wall, despite ample seating being available. After taking our order, our server disappeared without informing us she was leaving, leaving us unsure who was responsible for our service.
Given my experience in hospitality, I found the service unacceptable and have no intention of returning to this Demetres location.

Flies. I mean a lot of flies hovering in the dinning area. They love your desert! Even the staffs admitted that they have a problem of fruit flies. Do not go until it is resolved.
