Small, intimate restaurant in a nondescript plaza. Food and service were excellent.

We had a date night here. It was great, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. When you look around you can see that there were lots of couples doing the same. The portion sizes were nice and the food has a lot of flavour.

Our server was very professional, accommodating, and friendly but the service was a bit slow. I had the calamari, which I found a bit chewy, but tasty. Happy Hour (between 3-5) is a great time to go if you want to save a few bucks. The Caesars were excellent!

Bruschetta was great! Lamb and smashed potato was the best dish. Lamb was super soft.

Fine dining for the jerk fan. Had the lamb shank, beef rib, bruschetta and creme brule and macchiato for dessert. All satisfactory. Will visit again to try other items on the menu. Waitress (Angela?) was fantastic and offered a nice dessert gesture for our anniversary.

This was my first time to Chatterpaul's, I really enjoyed it! Great service, delicious food, and an upscale atmosphere. I ordered the beef tenderloin with shrimp and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked beef and nice buttery veggies to go with it. It came with mashed potatoes that I wasn't the biggest fan of, but overall it was a great choice. My partner got the Red Snapper with Lobster Ravioli and it was phenomenal - I highly recommend it if you like fish! We shared the carrot cake, it was good but didn't blow us away. This place is great for dates, business meetings, or just if you want a nice place to go out in Durham region, check it out!

My husband and I were there on the weekend he ordered the braised beef and a few hrs later he felt sick the next day he got even sicker it was food poisioning!!. Not happy at all check your meats when eating. If it taste weird do not eat it. Bad food control on the resturants end. I POSTED THIS BEFORE AND IT WAS TAKEN DOWN. You need food inspectors to come and take a look at your kitchen horrible. Do better Chatterpaul's.

Overall a great place to eat. The food came pretty quick, it was tasty, hot and we had pretty good portion sizes. The bruschetta was my favourite appetizer and their take on jerk chicken with coconut rice was delicious. I’ll definitely drop by next time I’m in the area.
