Usually I like the Chuck's that our whole family goes too. But on Sunday March 24th at the Whitby south location the service was the worse ever. The staff were arrogant and totally non understanding. The manager was the same. I'm going to message the owner privately to explain the whole ordeal. We ended up leaving and going to Jack Astors a km away where they treated us amazingly.

So very disappointed in the service today. We called days ago and were told we could not make reservations for a table of 9 which was fine. When we got there a table had been reserved for a table of 8 for other people. They were not there. But some how had their names written on the back of a sheet of paper. We were told that they were shopping and were coming back. We had planned this dinner with family for a birthday celebration for my son. We drove an hour away to meet family at this central location. My 78 year old elderly mother who is disabled with a walker was with us. The family of 8 showed up and kindly offered to give up their table and they would sit at the bar stool tables as we could not sit there with a walker. but the rude hostess and bar manager would not give us the table. They made us stand in the doorway for over 20 mins and did not seat us. They gave the tables to other people coming in. Even as the restaurant emptied they had no intention of getting a table ready for us. We left and went to another restaurant. Will never be back to this location again. Extremely rude staff with total disregard to my poor mother who is 78 and can barely walk. Very very disappointed. We went to Jack Astors and had the very best service. So glad our Chucks location in Peterborough has the best staff and owner! They would never treat people like this. Hey owner! you need to train your staff in good customer service!

Second time at this restaurant and it was great again. I had the Chucks Philly Steak sandwich and my girlfriend had the Chucks roadhouse burger. We had the tempura shrimp starter. The food was excellent and the waitress was great. Nice atmosphere, good lighting, and tv's everywhere. Highly recommend the Chucks philly chesse steak sandwich. It is thinly sliced roast beef with sauteed onions and mushrooms and it is excellent.Parking: The restaurant is located in a large retail space so there are thousands of available parking spots

Yet another letdown here. 2 of our last 3 visits our kids have saw Chuck e cheese come out to dance ONCE!!!!!! That's 6hrs of being there and 1 appearance. When it's supposed to be every 30mins of the hour every hour. Manager went on about circumstances came up. But 2 of 3 visits. Seems like a bunch of nonsense and the kids ABSOLUTELY LOVE seeing him come out. Maybe if it was run by grown ups and not young kids more care would be taken on the importance of him coming out and dancing with the kids.
