Overall the experience was frustrating. I was booking a milestone birthday for my dad and was unable to reach anybody at the brewery because their phone number is out of service and nobody monitors their Instagram or email. I ended up having to call the restaurant next door to confirm if the brewery is even still there. Once the reservation was made, I was trying to make arrangements for my dad since we had 16 people coming and I wanted food for everyone. Still no reply. When we got there for our reservation it turns out they had another party right before us and they asked if they can push our reservation out 30 mins while everyone was standing outside. It also turns out that restaurant on the ground floor and the brewery are not affiliated and neither really cooperative in trying to accommodate our party. Essentially I was told “they can't stop me from ordering from the restaurant through Skip the dishes”. Because of the experience we'd had to that point we decided not to give either business our money and ended up ordering a bunch of pizzas from Pizzaville across the street and bringing it upstairs. The waitstaff was really helpful and seemed empathetic, the patio space was nice, but it was a frustrating experience overall just for subpar beer.

I made a reservation online for Sunday at 1:30 pm on the rooftop patio. When we arrived, we were surprised to see that Brock St Brewery was closed. We tried to call the phone number a few times and it was out of service. Online and at the location, it says it's open on Sundays at 12:00 pm. Not sure why it would be closed on a busy Sunday on a beautiful sunny day in the summer. We were disappointed and have yet to receive any communication from the restaurant. If closed Sundays, someone needs to change their operating hours online, on Open Table, and in person.

Had a 2:00 reservation through Open Table for your rooftop patio. Drove from Markham for a Father's Day celebration only to find out that you were closed. A big embarrassment and a let down for our family who planned this outing in advance. You had to see all of our faces when we arrived and the hostess at the 12 restaurant informed us that you were closed.

Had a great time. The band was fantastic - Brock Street Band. Suggestions include stocking some non-alcohol beers for the DDs. Also would have liked to be able to have something to eat - even fries or pizza would have been fine.

The whole vibe of the place was just right—laid-back, welcoming, and perfect for a chill night out. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

I've been to Brock St twice already in 2025 because I've loved it so much. The 12Bistro restaurant on main floor has amazing food, large portions and wait staff was fabulous. The lounge on top floor is always inviting with friendly staff and live musicians on Saturday nights. A great place to bring friends, family or visitors from Toronto and afar. Cherie was VERY prompt with responses and even when extremely busy, she responded within a very reasonable time frame. Any questions we had were answered shortly after sending a message!

I had a review for the rooftop patio only to arrive and be told it was closed for a private wedding. The reservation was open for time slot that didn't exist. Be careful when making a reservation, particularly on a weekend.

Our expectations were exceeded and we were blown away with the service from all staff (bartenders, wait staff, security, etc). Cherie is amazing at what she does and went above and beyond her role for us. We received rave reviews from our guests about the food, service and facilities. Truly a wonderful place in Durham region that is guaranteed to satisfy guests. Cherie and her team are the best at what they do and we would highly recommend Events on 12welve. Thank you
