The portion sizes and pricing at this location is ridiculous. I ordered a chicken souvlaki dinner for my 10 year old and was provided two small containers, one with about a cup of rice and maybe 3 oz of chicken, and the other with a small salad for $20.95. For this price I was expecting quite a bit of food that would be far too much for her and was shocked at how little they gave.I am also very disappointed with the owner’s response after he said “that is how it has been for 10 years” and basically too bad.I would definitely not recommend this specific location (Victoria street in Whitby) of halibut houses based on the portion sizes for how expensive it was and very poor customer service from the owner. I’ve been to halibut house’s before in Scarborough and a different Durham location and never been so thrown off by pricing verses portion and the food it’s self was just okay.Not worth it.
