This place is not the same as it once was. All the recent one star reviews are true. We will never order from here again - All salty crumbling batter and no fish, fries are garbage. This place must have been taken over by new owners who have no clue what they’re doing. Expensive, and very low quality. Such a shame.

The power seems great and the portions are generous. The main complaint is it’s just way too greasy. I k kw it’s fish and chips but both were so greats it hurt our stomachs and could t finish the meal.

Updating my review. The prices to portion sizes use to be good. The Fish is better than other places near by, but the portion sizes have really shrunk while prices have increased. I normally get the Halibut and Chips, but the last two times the size of the fish is about half as big as it use to be.
The fish still tastes good, but for the amount of food you get for the price, there are better options.

All I'm gonna say is never again, It felt like 80% Oily batter 20% fish, At least the price was good though.

First and last visit. Ordered halibut and fries. What I received was batter and fries. Literally not even 2 ounces of fish. Fries were pasty tasting and the smell was not very pleasant in the restaurant.

Reasonably priced corner restaurant in Whitby. Great for a quick pickup of fish and chips on your way home or elsewhere. Atmosphere is ok, but be prepared for small lineups if you arrive during the lunch hour with the high school just up the street; many students. Overall, worth a try.
