This place does the best fish AND chips hands down. I have found a lot of places lacking in the fries department, but the fries here are always delicious and perfectly cooked. The batter on the fish is always light and has a good fluff to crunch ratio. You can tell they change their oil regularly as nothing comes out tasting old or heavy.

My go to is the cod meal. Add a bit of salt to everything to tame it to the next level

Deliciously soft and flaky fish with succulent chips (they go excellent with the malt vinegar). I had the pleasure of trying the haddock special, gee am I glad I did, it was a serious portion for the price. I almost couldn't finish it as a large male ?. Absolutely juicy, the batter coating on the fish isn't too oily and is light enough to enjoy. Lather both chips and fish in Mal vinegar with tartar sauce, you'll be a happy camper. So I ordered just a haddock and chips and a poutine. I figured it would be the normal small piece of fish and little fries. ... nope, I was super wrong!! That fish was hanging out both sides of the box that was also filled to the brim with crispy, perfectly cooked fries. The audacity!!! 😁 I will definitely order from here again next time I'm out this way. The fish was delicious with a nice batter and flaky inside. Thanks guys!! 😊
