My husband got take out tonight. Enjoyed the fries . Fish we ordered halibut certainly did not taste like it. Dry and no flavour at all. Pieces of fish very small. I love tartar sauce but found it to be mostly pickle not what i was used to for true tartar for homemade.

First time at Harbord Fish and chips and it will be my last. Entered the store and there was no one in the seating area, but the staff person there left the counter and had to reset 2 tables before serving me. . I told the person that it was my first time there, and wanted information on the “size” of the halibut. He described the fish as regular size that most places sell. I ordered 2 of the Halibut and fries.
Got home and was very disappointed. The fries were ok, but some were burnt and looked like they were previously cooked and left in warmer. The fish was very disappointing …. The pieces were small and thin. My best description would be like a sausage wrapped in batter They give you about a tablespoon of colesaw and tarter sauce
Price was $11.00 for the fish and chips. Not worth it.

Today for the first time I visited the restaurant in Whitby Harbour fishing chips, fishing chips restaurant the fish was amazing. I haven’t had a bar in a long time and the service was perfect and I spoke to our owner or manager my apology very pleasant and very nice. I really enjoyed it and I recommend to all of you if you’re visiting Bixby to stop in it thank you.

I was along the way and stumbled upon this unassuming fish and chips shop. I got their lunch special which was the haddock and chips. I was surprised by the amount of food I got. The haddock was really crisp and fresh. The chips had a really nice potato flavour. I will be coming back to get photos. It was so good and I was hungry so I gobbled it up like a turkey. The owner was really nice and the seating was decent and clean. Highly recommend!
Good place to visit. The person working here is very accommodating. He asks me about the food, if I need anything else, and how I think of the food. ? Good job!!
