I’ve had dinner here a few times now and I always walk away completely satisfied with everything. The menu changes often which offers a new experience everytime. I got the swordfish last night and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The service was great and the owner even came over to wish us a happy anniversary. My wife and I love this place.

My husband and I have been to KB food several times, and the food, service and atmosphere have been exceptional each and every time. Every dish we’ve tried has been unique, flavourful and so delicious. The ambiance is fantastic and the staff are so kind and welcoming. This will be our go-to spot for many years to come.

We have been coming here for a few years and feel the quality and service is declining. Don’t expect to see exactly what you see online on their website, I appreciate the menu changes frequently, but it’s hard to be excited for a menu item to only see so many of them different or gone.
Tonight we ordered the seafood bucatini for the reason of scallops mentioned in the description, only to receive an over oily pasta with no scallops. They were helpful and took care of it for us but it’s still very disappointing and not the first time this has happened. We often feel some of the menu descriptions do not match the product and it feels like false advertising.
Each time we come we feel slightly less satisfied and justified with the food and quality.

The most noticeable thing for me was just how dirty this place is. Super dusty, spider webs, etc.. Really disappointing. The food was very average. The service was awkward. I really don't get the hype.

We love KB! The food is amazing. Its farm to table as the owner has his own farm which he harvests from. It’s truly an incredible experience. The cocktails are carefully curated and they usually have a special evening cocktail. The service is excellent too.

Intimate setting and good food. Bison was fantastic and if you are a vegan the veggie dishes are said to be good. Go with the Bison! Big fan!!

Best food I've had in a long time!! Service was amazing and a big shout out to our server Chelsea. She was super personable and such a delight. Went with friends for my birthday dinner. They have delicious cocktails, I recommend the KB smash. We were 4 people and shared 2 appetizers. We got crab cakes and the buratta, absolutely tasty. We also shared the seafood pasta, lemon ricotta gnocchi and mixed grill. I will keep dreaming about this meal and can't wait for my next visit, which will be sooner than later.

Excellent restaurant. One of the best in Whitby/Durham. The only negative is the menu changes every day which yes keeps things fresh but because it's not posted online daily on social media or a site it's a bit hard to know what to expect. Also ordering the same dish as a last visit doesn't guarantee it will be made the same way, again something positive or negative depending on you. Those last 2 things are ngative to me but the food is so well made that I stuck with 5 stars.
