I'm a little shocked by the amount of positive reviews for this place. Maybe I had an abnormal experience but I ordered the pulled pork Ensenada Enchiladas, a chef specialty supposedly. The pork tasted old - it had that "been in the refrigerator past its prime" taste and was quite awful.The side salad, rice, and drinks were great! I told the waitress as much and she actually fought me on it - such an odd reaction. I work in food safety microbiology and mentioned this as a kindness, I wasn't asking for any sort of discount. She did return to apologize and was kinder about it, and knocked half the price for the entree off of the bill so that was nice.I also saw what I believe to be a mouse dropping in the bathroom. Parking was a bit of an issue too. I don't think I'll be back lolParking: Not very many spots, some of my reservations guests had to park far away from the establishment

Came in for lunch with my friends who recommended this place. For Easter Sunday, it was quite busy. The service was great, and fast. The food was okay. Not my favorite Mexican restaurant. The calamari was rubbery and not very warm, when we got it. The tacos weren't bad. Wish we got more napkins, as the food is quite messy. Overall, wasn't bad

My first time here and it didn't disappoint. I tried the fish tacos which they offer pan seared or deep fried battered. Both were delicious but I preferred the crunch of the battered fish. The service was excellent also. I'll definitely be back.

I upped the food by 1 more star.March 22, 2014: We had a wonderful experience here. The live music was a complete surprise and really nice. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food was good, not great, but they have vegan cheese and sour cream and can turn almost any dish into a vegan meal. The portions are generous, to say the least. Coffee was served hot and fresh, and they even have a decadent vegan chocolate cake with raspberries. We will definitely go back. I had vegan nachos, and hubby had vegan pizza. Of course, we both had the cake. Edit: I actually believe it's the vegan cheese that made our food taste less than great. That's not the fault of the restaurant; something that the vegan food industry is still working on improving.Dietary restrictions: Most things can be made vegan. They also offer a number of gluten-free items.

I’ve driven past this spot so many times and have been curious to try it, today I was running errands and decided to come in for a solo date. The music is soft and fits the atmosphere for a texmex spot. Lots of seating, clean and the service is so prompt.They’re very friendly, the menu is great! Lots of options for vegetarian and vegan diets as well.The black bean soup was hot, thick and delicious, I added some hot sauce to it but it was a great appetizer.They’re able to turn any burrito into a chimichanga for a small charge.The drink menu prices are fair, I saw some patrons ordering margaritas and they’re large!I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for texmex in the Durham region.Vegetarian options: Beans/vegan cheese/fajita vegetables

Just tried one of there coronitas and wow! It’s two drinks in one. I absolutely loved it! Thank you all for such great service the manager Sandra was so nice! She needed our table and offered us a free round to move to a smaller one. Which was lovely thank you.Caitlyn or “K” is a ball of energy. She was such a fun sever to get on a boring rainy weekday night. She was fun and personable she completely lifted our spirits. Thank you K!!
