I just attended a birthday high tea at Marito’s, and it was such a special and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, there was a warmth and care that made the celebration feel truly personal.
The selection of teas was wonderful—thoughtfully curated with something for every taste. Each tier of the high tea was beautifully presented, with delicious sandwiches, perfectly tender scones, and an assortment of sweets that were both elegant and indulgent. Everything tasted fresh and lovingly prepared.
What made the experience especially meaningful was the exceptional service. The owners, Marito and Lily, were incredibly gracious and welcoming, clearly passionate about creating a lovely experience for their guests. Anna, our server, was attentive, kind, and ensured every detail was just right without ever feeling intrusive.
It was the perfect setting to celebrate a dear friend, and I’m so grateful for the care and hospitality we experienced. I would highly recommend Marito’s to anyone looking for a charming, heartfelt high tea experience. I can’t wait to return.

Absolutely loved this cafe! The atmosphere was amazing—cozy, welcoming, and a perfect place to relax. The matchas were outstanding, especially with the ube and strawberry cold foams (highly recommend both). On top of that, the owners, Lily and Marito, were incredibly kind and made the experience even better. You can really feel the care they put into everything. Can’t wait to come back!

I just wanted to let you know of our experience at high tea today. While the food/tea was nice- there was a young girl and I believe her mother in the room with us the entire time. I think they are family with the staff there. At the beginning the girl was on her iPad talking very loud with someone (she was by herself for a couple minutes). Her mother did come back to the table (from the employees only door) and did tell her she was way too loud and it momentarily stopped. By momentarily, I mean the girl played a video or something on her iPad with the volume insanely loud the entire time. She did have an earpiece in her ear but it must have been something else she was listening to as the ENTIRE duration of our high tea (just my & my son in there) we heard loud video beeps, noises etc continuoisly while her a mom sat there reading a book. I have ZERO problem of the girl being there (although it is for patrons, not babysitting) but she should have at the very least be reading a book, quietly colouring etc. not playing something that is terrible loud. It ruined our experience there. We took home half the items as my son didn't eat much) I didn't say anything to him at the time but when we got outside he said how awful of was hearing that noise in HIS EAR the entire time/ he said it was so frustrating he could even enjoy eating. That's when I said to him I didn't want to say anything to the staff then as I didn't want to embarrass him- but it was absolutely awful and ridiculous we had to hear that loud noise the whole time. Perhaps circumstances arose where they had to be there today, I don't know or care. Maybe it would have been better for them to set up in your front area where people come in for a coffee and treat rather than in the high tea are where it's clearly not as noisy/busy
To pay $110 for that was a rotten, terrible experience.

great atmosphere for a quick coffee, minimal seating for coffee but they have a high tea section. Scone was amazing, more baked goodies would be nice to have.
We came here for our girls holiday outing for high tea and it exceeded our expectations. We had so many good options for such a great value. The hight tea was delicious and the warm apple cider stood out for me. Highly recommend!
