Came here for lunch on the weekend. The guy who seated us was super nice. The service was friendly and attentive. My husband and I both loved our meals. However there was a weird smell in the restaurant that I couldn't quite place, which was a bit of a turn off. My husband also said one of his dishes was dirty, but we don't like to complain so we just wiped it off and didn't say anything.
Not sure what was going on with that - just mentioning it here because maybe the owner wants to review their cleaning schedule or something.
Other than these two things, we liked it.

This was my 4th or 5th time in the last year or so having lunch with my good friend. We love it here. It's halfway between our homes and it's a great place to meet and eat.

This was my third time in this amazing restaurant. I decided to treat 2 friends to lunch and chose this location ad the place to be. I ordered soup and salad. The French onion soup was amazing with taste and so much cheese in rhe soup. The salad was fresh and so tasty. My guests also ordered the soup salad except they wanted more bread. They each ordered one of the two different daily soups with o e having the cease and the other having the house salad with house dressing. They both told me what a wonderful lunch they had. I have had the beef dip in the past and can tell you they know what they are doing. The beef dip was full of flavour and the roast beef was moist and full of flavour. The club sandwich was amazing filled with natural ingredients. This restaurant is truly a gem.

Went with friends for an early birthday dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Little weird that waiter brought debit machine but no receipt but we were in a hurry. Will be back.

First trip to this city wanted to go here with our family and was asked to wait 45 mins with a baby then another 20 after that with several open tables who were 16 mins past the reservation I'm not sure why those tables weren't utilized and will not be back seems awfully disorganized and understaffed

The restaurant and the atmosphere is a throwback to the innocent days of the '50s and '60s. Good portions of the meals and the prices are very reasonable.
You would think that it would only appeal to those over 65 but actually there is a large cross-section of people that includes teenagers and university-aged as well as young families. A nice fun spot to enjoy your meals well reminiscing of those innocent years of the 50s and 60s.

Ordered pizza rolls, yummy, wings, yummy, Philly cheese steak sandwich not so impressed with but the owner made it right by giving me a gift certificate. So kind. These owners care about their customers! I can't wait to go back. Thank you Melanie Pringles.! 😊

Though of checking out this place after reading good reviews. We tried Rueben sandwich and smash burger. Also took a cocktail our server suggested.
Service and the vibe is good. Smash burger was yum and the sandwich was just OK. Cocktail was pretty underwhelming and not worth the price. We paid 85$ for just this much of food and tip.
Which was expensive. Not going back.
