A hidden gem that everyone needs to try! The service was fantastic and kind and the drinks were uniquely delicious. All three of our drinks were made to our preferences and were the best we have had in the area. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely make many more trips in the future!

i’ve been a to this place a few times, the coffee and baked goods are wonderful and the service is also fantastic. I felt good supporting such a great business until i looked further into them, i realised that they don’t actually employ the disabled adults you see working. they get paid on saturdays, but even then you can’t leave a tip. you can only make a “donation” so the money isn’t actually going towards the workers. in their regular tuesday-friday, the people working actually pay to be there. i’ve additionally overheard some pretty unsavoury conversations happening out in the open with the staff. The worst telling an employee who was visibly upset (crying) to “act professional.”I even overheard this employee, who seemed to be having a hard time, say that she wants to work but is feeling overwhelmed. she was made to keep working despite being visibly distressed. it’s clear to me this place is not neurodiversity affirming, lacks visible accommodations, and I will not be coming back. it’s a shame, this place really could have been great.

We were provided friendly and helpful service and we enjoyed browsing the items in the market. We bought a soup mix that contained Ontario grown mushrooms. We had 2 delicious lattes and a peach cobbler flavoured muffin - very delicious!

A wonderful spot to grab a coffee and a pastry and chat with a group of young people who vary on the intellectual spectrum.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming, it's bright, spacious and tidy.
In a world of corporate mega-chains, give Melly's a chance.
This cafe is a great environment, the staff are very friendly. Menu options for drinks and snacks/sweet treats are great. Iced white mocha latte is my go to drink. Great place!

It’s great to know that our purchases go towards a good cause of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the workforce and their community while still getting your daily coffee in! This place is better than timmies and the sewers here are great and my sister loves the pumpkin spice muffins they are her favourite here so I would recommend everyone to give this place including my friends at school who have not been to mellys a try and trust me you will fall in love with the treats and sweets here! And melly is the nicest person here too!
